revision tip

do something active to revise. don't just read the textbook, because you’ll get bored so fast and you won't retain anything. a quick but effective way that i like to engage with my revision is by taking a tiny pocket sized notebook or some sticky notes, and summarising one page of my textbook onto a single sticky note or a single page of my tiny notebook. this forces me to condense it to the absolute key points. then in the exam, i think back to that tiny page and use those key points as the gateway to the big chunks of information that i need to remember!!

1 quick revision tip.

Try one of these piano playlists when studying or find some study music on YouTube. I find that it genuinely helps me when I need to concentrate. Whenever I decide to take a break, I turn the music off in hope that I will associate it with studying.

Revision tip!!!!!!!

Here is a revision tip for all my buddy’s out there :))) So when u r depressed it’s rlly hard to revise as I’m sure people know! My favourite thing to do is to write out the syllabus titles onto different post it notes and put them all in a line. I take them off when I’ve finished that section and to see it slowly deplete is the MOST SATISFYING THING IN THE WORLD!!! God damn taking off that last post it note is better than an orgasm I swear to fucking God.

(Pro tip - at the end of each section have a post it with 5 essays on it and u have to answer 5 practice q’s on the section but u can do it in bullet point form to save time)

I know this seems dumb af but honestly it makes it look way more manageable and brings (some tiny ounce of) joy into the horridness of revision :///////
