July 16th
(Tw for blood)
While it isn’t July, and far from the 16th, we’re getting close to when it would be brought up in the rewrite so may was well cover what happened right now, right?
Bloodmoon is still the main cause of it, but for different reasons. When Eclipse made Bloodmoon through bits of leftover kill code, some of Sun’s more darker thoughts, and some of Sun’s code to take the blunt of the pain from attempting to take control he had also noticed that Bloodmoon may have another use.
The idea that Bloodmoon could be used to torment Moon with the guilt for all the kids killed. I mean, sure he would have to implant Bloodmoon into Moon’s mind, but it’s better that after he served his purpose than being trapped with a psycho.
And so, on the fateful day of July 16th, just after Sun put all the kids to sleep, Bloodmoon took control.
6 died in total. Evelyn, Jammie, James, Huey, Howie, and Jacky. In the rewrite all of them will be more relevant, not just Evelyn.
Anyways, after the July 16th victims well, die, Sun wakes up, and is almost immediately consumed by guilt and panic for something he didn’t even do.
Sun cleaned up, hid the evidence, and buried the bodies. It left something in him shattered forever, and he didn’t dare tell Moon.
That day Eclipse also felt something… like guilt. No. Not guilt. Regret that Bloodmoon was too dangerous to be used again.
