Biochemistry notes.

The ones I took during class and the rewritten version.

I know people say that rewriting your notes is not worth it, it just makes you lose time.

I beg to differ there, it actually helps me. I can see the things organized in paper and sometimes I remember the way my notes look like and even the things that were written there.

Plus, I can always go back to them and understand the topic.

I had a biochemistry exam last Wednesday and I have another one this Wednesday too.

Day 23- What’s some random miscellaneous piece of information that you just happen to know?

Not that random because it involves my career...

But the idea of the main difference between an artery and a vein being the kind of blood they transport is incorrect. There are arteries with deoxygenated blood and veins with oxygenated blood.

The correct statement would be:

All the blood vessels that take blood FROM the heart are arteries.

And all the blood vessels that take blood INTO the heart are veins.

Day 24- Share with us your favorite word (it can be in any language)

“Perspective” at the end, I believe that this word defines the way the world works (at least in the social way).

Rewriting notes: yay or nay

Okay so I’m going to leave my two cents here. It has come to my attention that some people in the community are ‘calling each other out’ on their notes. Saying that they should or should not rewrite them.

I say, you do you.

If rewriting notes helps you revise/memorise go for it; you do you.

If it doesn’t then don’t do it if you dislike it; you do you.

Everyone has a different way of memorising and revising and studying in general. No need to be rude to one another.

Snow in the Netherlands! Let it snow! Rewritten notes for the STARR-method, a reflection method we have to use for our teaching internships. My literature notes from class today not rewritten and not even finished but that’s just to show that studyblrs are nowhere near perfect when it comes to studying so no worries! And two pictures of the snow! A landscape and my boots in the snow!
