yesterday was my 21st birthday! went out for brunch and mimosas with the family so that was fun. today, i heard back from the Princeton Prospective PhD Preview (P3) Program and I got in for the virtual visitation part! I’m so excited! After getting wait-listed last year, I was determined to get in this year and I did it!

Remember kids, a “no” is sometimes just a delayed “yes” :)

Linguists of Tomorrow // Indexblr

Hey guys! I need your help. I finally built-up an index to list all the studyblr/gradblr/lingblr (adepts and students) interested in and/or studying linguistics. Please reblog and share this in your respective circle so we can track everybody interested out there!

After a year of doing a subject with nothing to make pretty notes for, I decided to make pretty notes for driving theory.  Got my theory test on 1st August so hopefully will go well :S

hey guys! I am truly sorry about me being super inactive for these past few months. It was my second semester of college, so the classes were a bit more time consuming and I also felt, and am still feeling, that my mental health may be getting worse? Anyway, I’m definitely going to get help for that.

And since I have finished my first year of college, community college to be exact, you can definitely ask questions regarding that. Or really anything that may have to do with education, me being a person of color who is an immigrant in the U.S, and really anything having to do with life. Or if you want to simply message me privately!

spent the afternoon relaxing and reviewing the preterite because tbh we’ve learned so many verb tenses this year that i’m mixing them up!!

also i’m starting the 100 days of productivity challenge today :) i won’t be going for 100 consecutive days because i know i won’t be able to do that, but i’m going to try to actually finish it this time!

hey! i haven’t posted any original posts in a while, i’ve been on summer break. for christmas i got a new bullet journal and i’ve been spending the last few days setting it up while watching madam secretary! so far these are the spreads I’m so stoked with - i decided to do february already, just to be extra prepared for the start of semester in a month! i can’t wait to use it more!
