Quinn gave a soft huff that one maybe could consider a hint of a laugh. True, her skills with a bow were impressive. The thought of being hired was indeed an interesting one... (money was always good) but not one she entertained now.

Which Frozen/Elsa-centric books do you recommend your mutuals read to better understand your take on Elsa? :D

Great question! Thank you for asking and wanting to better understand Elsa as a character. There are a lot of books that expand on the Frozen universe and it can be overwhelming to look up Frozen novels and be slammed by them all.

In my opinion, the best ones to read (in order) are Forest of Shadows which picks up three and a half years post Frozen up to Frozen II, the Frozen II novelization, Polar Night: Cast into Darkness which picks up two months after Frozen II, and then for some added tidbits on Elsa, Anna, and Arendelle read All is Found. It's a collection of short stories by all the women who write the Frozen novels. I also recommend Conceal Don't Feel: A Twisted Tale. This one is a different take on the events of Frozen that gives you great insights into Elsa, Anna, and Hans that you'll enjoy.

She could understand exactly what he was saying. Being a monarch was as close to being a symbol as anyone could be. The weight of it was heavy on one's shoulders, even if it was something that she wouldn't trade for anything in the world. "The trick, I think, is to make sure to have someone there with you that'll remember who you are. Even when things get rough."
