“The Battle Within: A History of the Injustice Universe” - The Magical War: #TomTaylor’s tie-in comic to the 2014 video game “#InjusticeGodsAmongUs is truly a magical ride in 2015’s “#Injustice: Year Three” illustrated by #BrunoRedondo and #Xermanico (cover art to issue 6 by #MikeSMiller and #RexLokus). After #Constantine’s wife and mother of his child are killed due to #Superman and the Green Lanterns fight in Injustice: Year Two, Constantine turns to #Batman and his insurgence to aid him in seeking revenge on the Man of Steel for tearing apart his family. After Constantine reveals to Batman and the rest of the Insurgency that a powerful force is both protecting Superman and irradiating magical beings, they learn #Spectre is the Man of Steel’s right hand man. Batman and Constantine seek the help of #MadameXanadu to triumph over this regime. Xanadu reveals a prophecy (that includes the return of #Joker) and claims the Insurgency isn’t ready for the chaos that is about to happen. This leads to a powerful battle with Constantine, Batman and the Insurgency and Superman and his #JusticeLeague; without the #DarkKnight knowing, Constantine kidnapped #Raven in order to have her father, #Trigon, ready to fight the Man of Steel believing he was the one to took her. After it is discovered that Spectre is actually #MisterMxyzptlk in disguise, both Trigon and Mxyzptlk fight to the point where they begin altering reality, resulting in Doctor Fate sending both into a place called The Void. While Constantine leaves the current reality with his daughter, Batman is back to the drawing board as to how to stop Superman.
