Trigons Backup Plan
So! Trigon knew from the moment his Daughter was taken in by the Monks of Azarath that it would be difficult to turn her to his will. He wasn't stupid, he knew just how hard it would be to make his daughter turn on everything she has ever known in her (very short) life.
He can't really blame her, even he believed that indiscriminate mass murder was wrong until his mid-200's, he just needs to wait for her to grow out of it.
But until then he still needs a way into the DC Universe. And if his daughter wouldn't help, then he could always just make a 2nd one.
So, he searches and eventually finds a Couple of Scientists who seem to be good targets. They are researching Magic and Ghosts, so he makes a Demonic Pact with them. He will give them the secrets needed to complete their Research, and in exchange all he asks is that they help him bare a child.
They agree, and Danny Fenton is born.
Danny was supposed to become a Hellmouth when he turned 16, unlocking his Demonic Powers and opening the way for Trigon to enter the DC Universe so he could conquer it.
Instead he managed to get himself killed at 14. Then he managed to come back to life as a Halfa, he got himself adopted by Clockwork, and he usurped the Throne of the Infinite Realms in the span of 1 year, therefore putting himself on the same level as his Father on the cosmic scale.
So there goes his Backup Plan.
Dammit.
...
Meanwhile Raven is panicking. She had been messing around with her Friends when they asked about the Spells she could do, and she off-handedly mentioned that she could cast Family Tracking Spells.
One thing led to another, and they all wanted to know if they had secret family. Then they asked if she wanted to try as well, and for some reason she agreed.
And long story short, she has a little brother somehow. A little brother who is only a few weeks away from turning 16, who doesn't know the Azarathian Spells she learned to prevent his own transformation into a Hellmouth.
Oh shit...
Ring of contract.
I am looking for a post where Danny is Ellie’s dad and ghost king
She joined the teen titans and gets close to raven because of there overpowered dads
Raven thinks Ellie’s dad is evil like hers and Ellie thinks that ravens dad is is like her dad
When raven meets Ellie’s dad she is surprised that he is nice to Ellie and dose not want to use her for evil
When the team meets Ellie’s dad it’s when trigon is attacking and Ellie is the one who summons him and then after the fight he dotes on her and they are shocked that is is a good dad they expected him to be like trigon Raven and Ellie bond because of how they will never be as powerful as there fathers and each girl thinks there dad is like the other
Like Ellie thinks trigon is a good dad like danny is
And Raven thinks Danny is a bad dad like trigon
New History of the DC Universe #2
Ma'alefa'ak, the people would like to know your top 10 monsters from less to most boink worthy, you're allowed 3 honorific mentions and no Johnstantine monster forms
in the spirit of Ma'al ranking the Green Lanterns, here's Ma'al's random opinions on most characters that pop up in DC top 10 monsters lists:
for the three honorific mentions:
Ma'al doesn't have a "top 10" because "nobody tops me unless I tell them to" and his opinions on who's most boinkable are susceptible to change from his mood, the vibes, the weather, the seasons, the alignment of the stars, etc.
Happy MerMay!!!
An Archive of Our Own, a project of the Organization for Transformative Works
Mers don't do well with isolation, so when a lone mer moved into Clark's family's lagoon he decided to befriend it. He never expected that one friendship to change his entire life.
...
"I was just wondering… how? Do you have any advice?"
"Oh, don't ask him." Bruce called over, rolling his eyes. "He doesn't know how to make friends. Our first meeting happened because he decided that the best way to get my attention was to throw dead fish at me."
"I mean… it worked, didn't it?" Clark laughed.
"Do not take his advice." Bruce warned Dick, pointing a finger towards Clark, who was stifling laughter.
"Wait, so, he threw dead fish at you and you decided to move in and raise two pups with him?"
Clark's body froze.
His mouth hung open.
Bruce appeared to be similarly shocked, going completely still in the water.
"Uh…"
"Um, well…"
They both started at the same time.
Dick's head swiveled back and forth between them. "What? That's what happened isn't it?"
Rec List - Comics with incestuous subtext between Raven and Trigon
The story of Raven is, at its core, the story of a daughter overcoming her evil father. Some Raven stories, especially early on in her history, imply that Raven had to endure not only emotional and physical abuse, but sexual abuse as well. This aspect of her character is often forgotten by future creators and fans alike, despite how important it was to the original version of her character. I've compiled a list of issues that focus the most heavily on the incestuous subtext between Raven and Trigon.
This is by no means an exhaustive list. I've only included comics that focus heavily on Raven and devote a large amount of the story to her and her relationship with Trigon. There are more smaller moments in issues that aren't as heavily focused on her.
New Teen Titans vol. 1 #1-6
This is Raven's first ever storyline. It establishes Raven's relationship with Trigon, as well as her relationship with her mother and the people of Azarath.
Tales of the New Teen Titans #2
This is the first Raven origin comic. To this day, it's the most detailed view of her childhood ever published. It further develops her relationship with both of her parents, as well as her relationship with Azar, the spiritual leader of Azarath.
New Teen Titans vol. 1 #29-31
Raven begins to lose control of her powers as she flees from a group of villains. Once she's captured, she's forced into a nightmare that reveals her deepest fears.
New Teen Titans vol. 2 Annual 1
Set right before the Terror of Trigon, the Titans must team up with an alien superhero team. During the course of the mission, Raven struggles with her increasingly out of control powers.
New Teen Titans vol. 2 #1-5
The Terror of Trigon: one of the most famous Titans stories ever published, and undoubtedly Raven's most famous story. After months of abuse, Raven can no longer contain her father. He possesses her and forces her to bring him to Earth, which he intends to conquer.
New Titans #66-67
Raven has begun dating her first-ever boyfriend, but things are not as they seem. Focuses very heavily on Raven's attitudes towards sex, as well as her relationship with her mother.
Teen Titans vol. 4 #20
This comic is a break with the rest of the list, but I still felt it was worth including. This issue is from the 2010s and establishes Trigon and Raven's relationship within the New 52 universe. The majority of it is narrated by Trigon as he talks about Raven and his feelings towards her.
