He’s Not Here is done, yes. 

HOWEVER. 

The story isn’t over. I have more plans for them, namely:  - Billy’s POV of what happened from the day he signed the Anvil opening party contract to being in the hospital

- Separate encounters in the hospital between Billy and the legal team, Billy and Reader, and Billy and Frank (along with some Madani and Krista sprinkled in)

I don’t think it’s ever going to be as long as HNH, but there will be some portions of the story that are multi-chapter. I mentioned the other day that I have a 4 piece series in this universe called Welcome Home that’s finished, but it feels wrong to release that without at least one or two of the things I mentioned above being written, just because it refers back to things that need to happen.  BUT. There are a few other pieces on my masterlist that are AFTER Billy gets out of the hospital and things are back to normal. I wrote and posted them without letting people know that they were follow-ups to HNH to see if anyone would piece things together... but the one was posted in February of 2019, so that ending’s been in the works for a LONG time.

Don’t Take It Personal Pt.2 - Calum Hood

Pairing: Calum x Reader

Summary: Calum and Y/N have been spending a lot of time together, becoming closer. One day, Jake comes along for a coffee and it causes Calum to explode. 

Y/N’s POV

Calum and I had spend a lot of time together after that one night at the club when he tried hitting on me, and then told me he’d be a better fit for me than my current boyfriend. His words haunted me since that night, and I didn’t know why. Maybe because I’m starting to think he might be right. Maybe because I know deep down he is right.  We had been hanging out a lot while he was on his break. We’d either spend time at his house or went out for coffee or even spent a day at the beach once. He’d point out some pretty girls and we’d say some things we liked about her without him being disgusted that I, a woman, was checking out other women with him. He then proceeded to tell me he thought calling out women, whistling at them, or whatever was so disgusting and disrespectful. I got myself a lgbtq+ suporter and feminist and rational thinker here.  “Is it okay if Jake hangs out with us today?” I ask him over the phone as I’m getting ready to head to Calum’s house again.  “Does he have to?” Calum questions, clearly annoyed that I would bring my dickhead boyfriend.  “Yes, Cal. He’s still my boyfriend and he has the day off today. I want to spend time with you and him today,” I explains, chuckling a little while I try to put on my shoes.  “Sure, yeah,” he replies, even though I know he doesn’t want to. “But we’re not hanging out at my place. That dude doesn’t set a foot in this house. We’ll go out for coffee or something,” he mumbles and I feel a little annoyed that I’m pushing Calum to spend time with Jake.  “Yeah, okay,” I say back. I want to spend time with Calum, but I’ll have to take Jake with me. I can’t just tell my boyfriend I’m going to spend time with a boy I’m starting to develop feelings for.  “Meet me at the coffee shop in like, half an hour,” he demands. Whenever we went for coffee, we went to the same coffee shop. So, we declared it ‘our coffeeshop’ or ‘the coffeeshop’ and both of us knew exactly where we wanted to go. I nod my head, forgetting he can’t see me for a moment.  “Yeah, okay. See you in half an hour,” you say with a smile.  “See ya,” he replies and hangs up. 

An hour later, the three of  you are sat at a table inside the coffeeshop, sipping on whatever drink you’ve ordered.  “So, what is it you do again?” Jake asks Calum, downgrating the man a little. Calum squints at the man besides me, starting to lose his patience with him. I kick Calum under the table, giving him a glare.  “I’m a musician. I make music with me and my band. We tour the world and stuff,” he explains, the annoyance apparent on his face. He and Jake really don’t get along, and I should’ve seen this coming.  “So, is that like a temporary job until you find something different?” Jake asks before sipping his coffee.  “No, it is my job and I hope to have it until I’m too old to perform,” Calum grits his teeth, glaring at my boyfriend, who’s oblivious to the annoyance and anger in Calum’s tone and face.  “Oh really? Can you survive off such a small wage?” Jake questions him.  “Excuse you, sir, but I happen to have about a million in my bankaccount. My job is as valid as yours. It’s equally as exhausting and draining, if not more. I’m not going to stay here and listen to you degrade me or Y/N. Her sexuality is as valid as mine and yours. It’s as valid as the next person’s. Your a fucking dick and I hope you choke on your coffee,” Calum tries to keep his voice down as we’re still in a public space. He gets up, leaving a stunned Jake and a turned on me. That was really hot. I don’t think I have ever had anyone coming up for me and my sexuality.  “You really are a dick, Jake. Please don’t call me ever again and come pick up your stuff from my place tonight,” I tell him calmly while getting up too.  “What? Y/N?” he sounds desperate, but I don’t even care. All I care about right now is Calum and trying to catch up to him.  “Goodbye, asshole,” I say lastly before walking out the coffeeshop. I look around to try and find Calum, and when I find him walking between a sea of people, I start running. I push past people, dodging them here and there until I finally reach the boy I was running for. He looks at me as I try to catch my breath.  “I’m really not a runner, Calum,” I tell him, giggling a little.  “What are you doing here, Y/N? Don’t you have a boyfriend to get to?” he asks, disguted by the thought of Jake.  “I don’t have a boyfriend,” I tell him once I caught my breath. Calum’s eyes light up as he looks at me in surprise, “You were right, he’s a dick and I don’t know what I ever saw in him. Don’t take it personal, babe, but personally, I think I’d be better with somebody like you,” I tell him with a grin before placing my hand behind his neck to bring him down. Our lips collide somewhere in the middle, and they somehow fit perfectly, move together gracefully. And from that moment I felt a weight being lifted off my shoulders. That weight being Jake and the love I’d been bottling up for Calum.
