RexWalker Week 2023 - Day 7: Rain / A Crying Kiss Illustrated for the fic "Nightmare for Others, Dream for the Self" by @battlekilt

Was unfortunately extremely busy the last few weeks and didn't think I would be able to manage anything for RexWalker Week; but I just had to illustrate something for my friend's fic because their writing for the week is bloody brilliant, and the Batakin AU is so very special.

So here it is, kind of encompassing a few prompts, but dominantly the Rain and Kiss, because these two deserve it and the writing is worth the world.

They are finally here, and a day early! There were also a few ties, so we have chosen to offer an alternative prompt for each day! You are welcome to do the single prompts or combine them, whichever you wish in order to best show the love between Anakin and Rex. 💙

A few quick reminders as well, any form of Anakin Skywalker is welcome in this event including Darth Vader or otherwise Sith Anakin (and this does satisfy the "Sith AU" prompt), so long as it is kept character positive. We are here to celebrate the love between Anakin and Rex, in whatever way you most enjoy showing it. You may share however you wish of course, we just will not be promoting it here. 12 DAYS UNTIL REXWALKER WEEK!

The countdown is really on now everyone! The month of October has been crazy and packed with fun events, but this is the excited reminder that RexWalker week is less then two weeks away, and we wanted to give some quick reminders as well!

Remember this is a week to celebrate the romantic relationship between Anakin Skywalker and Captain Rex; and though we love to see any and all positive relationships with the two, we are only going to be reblogging and including romantic creations in this event.

There are two prompts per day, and it is your choice which you wish to do (or if you decide to do both!). We just ask you to make sure you include which prompt in your post so we can share correctly; and when posting to the AO3 collection (AO3 tutorial for this here), it is included in the summary and/or title. Note: If posting all prompts in the same work on AO3, we ask you include the prompt(s) as the title of the chapter, to help with creating the Master Summary later.

On of the prompts this year is "Sith AU", and we want to reiterate that RexVader does fulfill this prompt! RexVader is also encouraged for any of the prompts, as it is still an iteration of Anakin Skywalker. So, as long as you remain positive in the characters, we would love to see and share such works!

We do have a cutoff day for accepting posts (November 15th), simply for mods to create the Master Summary in a good time frame before the holidays. BUT we will still be happy to reblog and share RexWalker content here after that date, and will be continuing to do so throughout the year as well.
