lucky there are a lot of nice reference pictures on the internet too! :) Watching and sketching clothed people helps too
Yes, there are! That's how I've gotten by and taught myself and I am eternally grateful to all those people who've put out anatomy tutorials.

please, compared to mine, your anatomy is like … gold. I suck. Badly.
Please don't say that! It took me A LOT of practice to get where I am and it still doesn't come easily, some days I just give up because it won't work out.
I think I got a lot better when I started doing art digitally, mostly because it's so easy to work in layers and to wipe out parts that you don't like. I find anatomy even harder to do when I draw traditionally.
It sounds so stupid, but it's really just a lot of practice, practice, crying, practice, more crying and frustration and more practice.
I spend a lot of time looking for photos of people and just making anatomy dolls of them by tracing the outline of arms and legs etc, basically just studying the way each part of the body is angled in this person's position. I never post any of these, but i have so many sheets of "practice paper" saved on my computer.
