Dissidia Hugging Headcanons, Part One!

Warrior of Light would be a bit surprised and stiff at first, but would eventually hug you back. Of course, he would be hella awkward at first, since all he really knows how to do is fight, and anything outside of that category is confusing to him. The man is kind of like a bear, so he would crush you if he hugged you too hard, and is very gentle while hugging. Firion would be flustered and nervous, since he believed being to affectionate with anyone other than his siblings and Tidus is inappropriate. Especially if you’re a girl, because he believes that if you’re the opposite sex, then you shouldn’t be hugging in public because he thinks it’s deeply intimate. It’s would be a quick hug before he ducked away with an apology and a bloody nose and ran off somewhere in embarrassment. Onion Knight would be the most sweetest person to hug. He would probably squeeze you at bit too, and grab one of your hands in his. He is super gentle, and since you are most likely taller then him, he would either have to jump up and wrap his arms around your next in order to actually hug you or hug your waist and look up at you with the cutest smile. He’s so precious! Cecil would be very sweet too, and very gentle. His hand would probably run up and down on your back and he would rest his head on your shoulder. He would most likely press a kiss on your forehead as well, being kind of the father of the group, no matter if your a boy or girl. Bartz would pick you up off the ground and spin you. He would squeeze the hell out of you too, like, where did he get all of this strength from? All you would have to do to get him to stop is to let out a small squeak and he’ll get the hint. He’s a little touch deprived, since his father died when he was young and never knew his mother. The only friend he had was Boko, so Boko was the only other person he hugged. Terra is so sweet and gentle, and she would probably lay a couple of kisses on your cheek affectionately. She wouldn’t squeeze you, by the way. Terra would also be a bit shy, because of her timid nature, but she would overtime understand that you’re her friend and that you’re okay to hug. Cloud would be similar to Kain, but a bit less awkward. He isn’t touch deprived like Kain, since Tifa hugged Cloud a lot when they were kids and even now as adults she still does. He would still be awkward whoever, since the only people he’s ever hugged are Tifa, Aerith, and his mother. He wouldn’t squeeze you, since his super strength would crush you, but would lightly hum a tune as he hugs you. Leon doesn’t like hugs, they always made him uncomfortable and awkward. He doesn’t even let people close to him hug him, since he hates other people’s touch in general. But, on certain occasions, like after a life-threatening situation, he may need to hug you in order for him to be reminded that he and everyone else is still alive. Be prepared for tears as well. Zidane would be pretty flirty if it was a girl hugging him, and would joke about the two of them dating. But it would only be in good fun, and he would return your embrace with a warm smile. He would probably squeeze you a bit as well. Tidus would be like Bartz, giving you a bear hug and spinning you around like a rag doll affectionately. He, being the bright child he is, would squeeze you tightly enough to hurt you, but would only do it for a moment before letting go, since he is more self-aware then Bartz is. If a girl was hugging him he would joke about them being a couple.

Vaan is a normal hugger really. He especially affectionate with guys because he feels less nervous and awkward.With a girl, he would be a bit awkward. He's an absolute sweetheart, so his hugs would be warm and comforting.
