Happy Pumpkin Festival!
I've decided to do a little series where I edit the Rune Factory children portraits to look closer to my favorite bachelorette/bachelor from each game. (If you want any edits for your favorite, my requests are open!)
So, starting off with Rune Factory 1...Tabatha!!!
I really wish that they gave your child the unique traits of your spouse in these games more often. Some of the games have the coloring, but where are the elf ears and other fantasy traits? So even though the elf ears were a pain to edit, I pulled through. I also changed the baby's eye color to match Tabitha's lavender, because gosh are her eyes gorgeous.
I wasn't initially a Tabatha fan (not that I disliked her, but she wasn't a standout at first), but as soon as I saw her proposal she instantly became my favorite. Her spontaneous reveal that she's an elf right before the proposal caught me so off guard and I love that. I also love her desire to unite humans and elves (though I really wish they did more with that character motivation). The fact that she proposes to Raguna is such a fun bonus too. Not to mention how gorgeous she is???

I wonder what kind of cooking is more common in the Elven Kingdom?
Judging by the fact that Tabatha admits to missing her homeland in various scenarios, I think it's safe to assume that her liked dishes (Rice Pudding, Mixed Ole, Mixed Juice) would also remind her of home.
It's neat that all her favourite dishes could be prepared in a pot, made from fresh produce like mixed fruits and vegetables with milk. This leads me to believe that the Elven Kingdom lives even more in harmony with the earth (potentially alongside monsters for the Bufamo milk!) than Norad does, and explains why Tabatha is so wary of the Sechs Empire's technology.
Additionally, looking at her likes and dislikes in Frontier, the only cooked food she dislikes are Sashimi and Failed Dishes. Once again hinting at the fact that perhaps the Elven Kingdom grows most of their food rather than fish for it?
I'll have to try giving her some Sashimi to see what she says about it...

As glad as I em to be "done", I acknowledge that these past 31 days have been transformative for my art and my attitude towards creating. I'm so glad I did this.

I think it's so cute that she'll always go window shopping on her birthday, I hope she buys herself something nice!
Unfortunately, Raguna didn't have the right equipment to make her birthday present this year, but he did try to gift her something she liked!

Looking back at this moment, it makes complete sense why Tabatha gives Raguna CORN for lunch. I can't imagine the de Sainte-Coquilles celebrating her birthday, so I'm not sure how many gifts she's gotten from humans before.
When Raguna gifts her FLOUR (for her birthday or not), she either thinks "Ah, so this is a typical human gift!", or with her sharp observation skills, she notices that Raguna doesn't really make her anything, so in her own sassy/humorous way, she doesn't make Raguna's lunch either.
At least she can teach Raguna how to cook; my Raguna is pretty bad at it haha!
