A small box arrives for Rowan, the delicate handwriting on the note making it obvious who it's from. "Darling, I thought you might like this. It just came out, so hopefully you won't have it yet. --Gilly" Inside is a book, a biography about some famous doctor. Further inspection reveals it to be signed by both the author and the apparently still alive subject.
There's a slight, curious frown as the package arrives. Then, slowly it turns to a smile as he examines the note and opens the book. Thoughtful. He'd have to repay her for it somehow...

Rowan: Three things Giltine? Why the sudden interest?" he sighs, then shakes his head, "I suppose I would like to say that I admire you for what you are. A headstrong, determined young woman. I would tell you not to doubt yourself. Not to listen to people who want to drag you down. I know our first impressions of one another were hardly complimentary, and I would apologize for that. While I believe in expressing nothing but my honest opinion of both the people and situations I am presented with, I will be the first to admit that I frequently lack the tact with which to properly express said opinions...
"Trouble like you?" she teases lightly.
"Oh I'm hardly trouble miss Valda."
"Mhhhm," she smile, "Orders." She leans up, kissing him happily. "I can't say I was adverse to the idea, though."
"Well next time I should hope you're not so quick to follow these 'orders' of yours. They might just get you into trouble you know." it's not the first time he's been less than enthusiastic about a kiss upon contact, be she certainly knew how to be persuasive. Damn woman.
With a laugh, she sneaks up behind him, fondling his butt. "Sorry, my love. Under orders."
Rowan: *sneaking and laughing hardly go hand in hand, though he still nearly jumps out of his skin and sputters when her hands make the grab. He looks at her for moment, shaking his head and completely indignant. "Orders Giltine? Really?" his tone is not amused. Okay, so it was a little amusing but no. His tone. Was not. Amused....He rolls his eyes in exasperation.
