Posting a day late, but here is a WIP inspired by the prompt for Day 7 of Rhaenys Week: Meleys 🥹
One of the first things I ever wrote for this fandom was Rhaenys, having just given birth, bringing newborn baby Laenor to the window to introduce him to Meleys - this is a follow up to that, of Rhaenys bringing Laenor down to the caves for the first time. Considering that she lost her first rider to childbirth, I think Meleys would keep an extra close eye on Rhaenys during her pregnancies and has probably put up with more antics from Laenor and Laena than most dragons would tolerate!
