Morzerys - The Sightless Flame

Made a little dragon oc!

Morzerys has been blind since he was young, having been attacked by his siblings in the nest. Because of this misfortune, he is known to dwell in caves, hiding from the outside world. He’s quite old at 140, but never grew substantially due to not needing to in such dark, tight spaces.

Morzerys has been sighted following other dragons around in the air searching for food, as he relies on sound.

He’s also been known to be quite inquisitive, following encampments and being overall quite nosy.

No Ai has been used in creating this drawing.

A couple of illustrations of Aemond I quickly sketched out while rewatching the first season of HOTD 🐲.

This month, I’m watching the third season along with everyone else, and I have to say I was pretty excited at the start. The premise seemed spectacular.

Now, I have to say I feel a little confused and a tiny bit disappointed with what we’ve seen so far.

I’m rewatching the first two seasons to immerse myself in this universe again as if it were the first time, and you can really see a huge change from the early arcs to now.

Unfortunately, I agree with the many who aren’t exactly satisfied with how Aemond’s character is being handled this season.

I won’t go into further detail...there are several blogs covering the topic right now with interesting analyses, I wrote some comments too, but I’m not very good with words. Drawing is my language.

There’s one thing I wanted to capture with these illustrations: I miss the Aemond from the first story arc, above all else.

Let’s hope we'll see glimpses of him in the final episode or in the next season.
