NumbuhPhenon's Cold Reception is really making me think about the Interesting Twins and Rowdy Hooligans in light of how the Delightful Children came to be. The way the fic sets up Sector Z is just so gutting and horrifyingly plausible that the mere existence of other delightful children suggests so much about Father as a character; namely that for all the awful things he had to do to turn Sector Z into the DCFDTL, there's proof that they're not the only ones he's done this to-- and they might not have even been the first!

(And even if you aren't familiar with Cold Reception's specific recounting of how that happened, ZERO still implies a lot about them; the fic just illustrates one possible scenario in such devastating clarity it made me think about their Whole Deal a lot more.)

I think it's interesting that, out of the many delightfulized groups, the DC are the only group of children that Father actually claims as his own-- the Interesting Twins and Rowdy Hooligans don't live with him, and I think it's interpret-able from the way both of them talk about him whether or not they consider him their Father, or if he's just their boss. It's really making me look at Father as an embodiment of an abusive, selfish parent in a whole new light, in that perhaps the Twins and Hooligans represent the way some fathers have children that they either don't claim as their own or abandon for one reason or another.

Father says that the DC are his "perfect" delightful children, made from his original machine, but we don't ever see him mention any other attempts or children other than them. We know he must have done some experimentation, given how many delightfulization machines we see over the course of the series; it's probably his life's work that the DC were a culmination of, so.... where is all of his previous work? Whether he "made" the IT and RH before or after would probably give us some insight into his view of the DC-- maybe they weren't as effective as he had hoped and kept trying, or maybe his first few attempts before the DC weren't as driven or disciplined as he wanted. Either way, though, it doesn't help that both the IT and RH are never seen with parents and are conveniently not in America where the DC and people that know Father might see them. The two groups definitely strike me as being either too prone to failure (IT) or not willing to hold grudges enough (RH) for Father to accept-- probably seeing them as failed experiments that he distanced himself from. But honestly that's just the beginning of my questions. Do they even know about each other? What if they all think they're Father's only real kids, with Father maintaining a separate lie for all three? And, barring that, who were either group before?? We know the Delightful Children are Sector Z, but who were the Twins before? Who were the Hooligans before? Were they all KND, or was that where Father went wrong? Did he kidnap regular kids and expect them to be just as tactical and strong as Sector Z was (no doubt giving his machine too much credit for their efficacy) and thus abandoned them when they couldn't perform?

Discussion about Father other delightfulized children identities. (Kids Next Door Theory/Headcanon)

Okay, I'm not sure if this is a new idea within the community, but did anyone have the headcanon that the other delightfulized children of Father were ex-operatives of the Kids Next Door? Specifically, ex-members of the KND organization in Japan and England. 

I'm saying this could be a possibility because we never had an answer to the origins of the Interesting Twins From Beneath The Mountain & Rowdy Hooligans From Across The Square. Another thing to consider is the disappearance of Sector Z itself. Do you find it strange that the Kids Next Door's most elite operatives wouldn't have an investigation for their sudden disappearance at the time?

You're probably questioning if The Interesting Twins From Beneath The Mountain & Rowdy Hooligans From Across The Square were ex-Kid Next Door operatives how come they were no references to other missing Kids Next Door operatives or sectors across the series? 

To answer that, we have to remember two specific things the ages of DCFDTL/Sector Z & and how recognizable are Sector E and Sector Japanese. 

The DCFDTL/Sector Z ages are confirmed to be in the same range as Sector V. These make the members of Sector Z around 10-12 years old. Remember, Delightfulization halts the aging process for any individual.

As for the recognizability of Sector E and Sector JP across the KND organization appears to be slim due to how secretive they are as a result of being entrusted to maintain top private artifacts or info of the KND. 

For example, when Nigel visited England, he didn't know the identities of Sector E, despite Nigel knowing every member of the kids next door regardless of the sector, proving that Section E isn't often recognized. The same goes for Sector JP because Father directly states they are secretive.

By combining facts of the ages of Sector Z before delightfulization, the strangest of a lack an investigation of Sector Z's sudden disappearance, the unknown origins of the other delightfulized children of Father, and the lesser-known secretive & entrusted nature of Sector E & JP across the KND organization paint a picture that during the events of 1999 after Sector Z disappearance, there were attempts for investigating the whereabouts for Sector Z over the years. 

In summary, I believe during 1999, after the disappearance of Sector Z, the higher-ups of the Kid Next Door received the old members of Sector E and Sector JP for a stealth mission for the whereabouts of Sector Z. Unfortunately for them, along with their journey Father caught them & forcedly delightfulized them and made them into The Interesting Twins Beneath the Mountains & Rowdy Hooligans From Across The Square.

(Post Edit: Another thing to consider is that the Interesting Twins, like the DCFDTL, also have tactical genius, strategies, and advanced technology similar to KND.)

Combine that with many operatives at the time who probably knew about Sector E, JP, and Z being near the age of decommissioning, the multiple waves of mini rebellions across the year 1999, recovering the after the event of the Great Junior High Rebillon, and the rise of chicken pox. Having time for finding the members of Sector Z were put on hold for a while (especially after losing more operatives while on the investigation) until the KND had forgotten about them or considered finding them a lost cause.

Side Note: Anyways for anyone curious about how long Sector Z was delightfulized for, the answer is around six years. The series finale in the universe is in 2005. Here's a timeline I made. (Sorry if one of the images is bigger than the other.) What are your thoughts on my theory/headcanon on the other delightfulized children being KND ex-operatives?

Do you think that the delightfulized kids ( delightful children, interesting twins, and rowdy hooligans see themselves as siblings?)

I wouldn't think they do, considering Father doesn't really treat the others the same way he does with The DCFDTL. In the case of actually taking care of them, I mean.

Like The Interesting Twins live in Japan, they don't see Father as a father figure like the DCFDTL does and they are mostly treated as some kids he hired that he thinks had potential to ruin the KND, they just so happened to have either the same delightfulization effect as the DCFDTL or in the same field as such.

The Rowdy Hooligans are just so bizarre and far-fetched to be anywhere near being related to Father other than the fact that they work under him and actually know him by his title, they don't seem to look preppy or uniformed like the others do and even as close to being in England as they are, they're not really anything adjacent to being delightfulized.

They have their own unique styles and don't seem to have any rhyme or reason of being unionized like the DCFDTL or finishing each other's sentences like the Interesting Twins, but they all have the same category of working under Father's commands, they just have a different status, as I could ever pit it to words.

As close to seeing each other related despite all of them not really being Father's biological blood or even legally adopted by him, unlike the DCFDTL, they probably see each other more like cousins or playmates of sorts. They understand their places and where they stand when it comes to their tasks on antagonizing the KND, that they'd probably find that as a first common ground to know each other until it can all just snowball it's way to them getting more acquainted outside of being Father's lackies.

That's just my opinion though, y'all can see them as siblings or friends however you'd like!

Besides the Delightful Children, what other KND kid villains do you like?

(I have a good liking to some under appreciated villains and I could possibly provide reason!)

The Interesting Twins, Like really? They only appear in the show TWICE, Three if you count the comic! But reason is that, I really do think they have potential for being more shown villains in the show, I also just want to know if they ACTUALLY met the DCFDTL or if they're at all acquainted and what would it have been like.

The Rowdy Hooligans From Across The Square, Dude they're the most underrated versions of the DCFDTL if anything! They just seem so neat to me that I want to know more about them, Also the same reason with the twins.

The Six Gum Gang, I will admit that they have been a good linger in my mind for a bit when hyperfixating on the show. I thought they have really awesome chemistry being kid villains and how they interact with other kids.

Valerie is definitely in the category of interesting villains for me but the only thing I can think of when I fixate on her is that she would probably be a good dogsitter and is probably more uptight than the Delightfuls.

James Nixon McGarfield and Anna are one of the cutest coupled villains in the show, Like come on! They're literally made for each other, what more can you expect?

But that's basically it for what other characters I like other than the DCFDTL, I think some would encounter Sector PHP sometimes in school or mission settings but that's a story for another time!
