Liv and Vinny getting together last night came up on my youtube suggestions so I watched it bc anything to do with Liv’s sexuality I’m interested in and honestly? It was freakin adorable.

At this stage in my life, I haven’t had a relationship and I know that if I was to get into one, that would be the kind of conversation I would need to have, about how the other person feels about the idea of having no sex ever. I don’t think I would have the guts to say it, to be so open and willing to have that conversation, because I’m so scared of what the answer would be.

So to see Liv like that, it’s inspiring. And it gives me hope, that maybe one day I’ll find someone who reacts the way Vinny did. Emmerdale really are doing something very right with depicting Liv’s asexuality.

One thing I'm loving about the chloe and elly storyline is that it's never been about sexuality. Elly hasn't shown any kind of revulsion to a woman being attracted to her, the way Elly feels about women has never been a question. Even Liz, while telling Chloe to back off, never once mentioned Chloe's sexuality or what Elly's might be. It's so refreshing and unusual these days.

I’ve spent the last 20 minutes crying, and I think it’s because I know it’s the end, the proper end. It was the end when Robert left, but there was still the epilogue to go. There was still Aaron’s breakdown, mentions of Robert every few episodes, there was still something left unfinished. 

But there’s not, not anymore. The divorce is done, Aaron’s going off to find himself, when he returns it won’t be about Robert. It’s really really difficult coming to terms with that, I’m not gonna lie. 

It was beautiful, though, and that’s half the reason I’m so upset. They couldn’t have done anything more to respect and cherish Robert and Aaron’s relationship. Ryan’s gone, and he’s not coming back. They treated it like the epic love story it was and what Victoria said to Aaron, about not being able to move on easily because Robert is a part of him and always will be, that hit me so hard.  For all of us, I think, that is the case. Robert and Aaron have been such a big part of our lives, and they will always be a part of us. No matter what we do, no matter where we go, we’ve been on this amazing ride together and we’ll carry it with us, for the rest of our lives. Always.
