A calm breeze greeted the cathay-raht as she left the inn filled with excitement. Trips to Windhelm for supplies were routine by now but it was not often that her trips coincided with the arrival of the merchant ships. She had seen several docked the night before and made it a point to spend an extra night just so that she could be one of the first to peruse the cargo on its way to the market, hoping to perhaps strike a deal well before anybody else. Though her work and studies were truly a joy there was a thrill in shopping that was hard to replicate; discovery and the conquest of ownership combined into a single activity. Somewhat singleminded in her pursuits Krin would often end up burdened by such trips with more tomes than she could reasonably read though the occasional odd trinket or magical artifact helped to keep things fresh. She was unprepared however for how her heart would soar that morning; a ship filled with khajiits was among those docked and it seemed that it wasn't just crew. Spying a female among them she made her way over, trying and likely failing to conceal her excitement, this was probably going to be rough on her coin purse. "Warm sands to you friend, it is not often that Krin-da'khe sees a ship full of her people in these ports. Tell this one, does Khajiit have a taste of home with her?", even if her greeting had not been so zealous her tail would surely have given her away, swaying rhythmically back and forth. "Krin believes that this one should let a sister have the first look before you sell to the nords, yes?", a sly smile on her face. Solidarity ought to be enough to have her curiosity sated but perhaps this girl might need some buttering up.
