Farewell to Thicket for now! I couldn’t leave without sharing some happy pictures from Britta and Rian’s wedding! As per usual, the actual live wedding was a complete cluster with guests that didn’t show or ditched before the ceremony and people changing in and out of formal wear, but I got a couple of decent pictures. I did have trouble with posed pictures. Namely, that the best man, Rodrigo Villareal kept getting prompted to go to work so he would literally unpose and dash for the door! So I didn’t get any full wedding party pictures :( People unposed and fell through floors as usual. The general bugginess of posing pictures is why I always use a separate save for pictures. I don’t want to corrupt my played game! Anyway! Enjoy!

I flit around households when I’m bored

Here are some random pics from the last few days of the McKay household when I couldn’t  help but to float around and check in on some of the other families.  I have most of the family bios for the Summer in the City playthrough done so I’ll be posting those as I go, but I’m going to finish out my Thicket playthrough before really playing with them because my aging options will be different. Enjoy!

Uh oh, looks like Rian is ready to start a family!  Too bad Britta was all the way across town!

So he’s the kind of guy who takes his drink INTO the bathroom with himself!  Rian!  Eeeew!

Britta finally made it, but he was out of the mood by that time of course..well, maybe not entirely, but no baby tonight!

They made hot dogs when they got home in the wee hours of the morning.  Britta looks quite serious..Rian is just pigging out after drinking most of the night at the Yellow Lab.

Well, the Beckwith’s decided to move to a new house!  I’m sad because I LOVED the house they were in, but I guess this is more realistic.  I did after all leave them with a good amount of autonomy in my SP settings.

I have never noticed there is actually writing on the pages of Sim books!

I’m still not sure about this new skin on Britta.  I mean she’s supposed to be freckled, but she looks so different!  Maybe she’s just maturing as she reaches the second half of her twenties.  I did change her hair back at least as you can see in the last pic.  Oh yeah, I also updated their entire apartment and bought them a washer and dryer.  No more dirty laundry piles!

Apparently, Karim Munoz has joined the Fire Department!  And now he just walks around with an open shirt..Oh dear! And OMG!  What is up with Cale McPhearson’s face in the background!?  You’ll be seeing lots of him in the next two weeks of the playthrough!

A little preview of some upcoming drama

Oh gosh!  There is a LOT going on in Thicket as we near the end of the rotation!  I’ve been playing ahead and I’m sharing some random pics as well as a few that will give a little preview of what’s to come!  These first screenshots are just from testing different lighting mods when I was picking one for the Summer in the City playthrough!  Top two are with Frozen and the bottom two are from Perfect Day both by @brntwaffles.

I know I’m not playing the Saavedra’s anymore, but I thought I’d let you all know that Evan has successfully aged into a toddler!  And you’ve probably never seen Freddy’s ears up close, but Evan definitely inherited them!  LOL!

I’ve been working on the last house in the Daisy Grove subdivision.  I’m loving the house, but it’s super close to the hill in back and on the side so I’ll need to do some serious play testing before upload to see if that causes too much bounce :/

Britta and Rian really don’t like cleaning, but they both really love hot dogs!  And...

There are wedding bells in the near future!

Randal Stark has really been a man around town, lately.  And as I’m sure you can see, he and Corrine ARE now officially an item, though they are both still dating other sims.

Normally, because I’m not playing Liam Cornelius either, I wouldn’t check in on him, but this is too funny!  Liam is actually a higher ranking medical Dr. than Bobby Li is and not only that, but Vance McKay who is the boss of both of them is there!  Well that and not to give away too much of the novel plot, but considering this is at the nectary, Liam getting drunk enough to get sick is NOT surprising!

Oh and one last thing!  Apparently, Britta is on speaking terms with Stacia again!  Maybe now that she’s engaged to Rian, she figures she can burry the hatchet..or maybe she’s there to congratulate Stacia...

It looks like Britta has forgiven Rian yet again after he cheated on her and then got immediately dumped by Mildred Case!  Good luck Britta...maybe the third time’s the charm!

And apparently Dewey Foster has gotten back together with his ex wife Joline!  I kinda saw this one coming, I wonder what this means for Stacia and little Rose!

Thelma finally got pinched stealing something!  Shame, shame Thelma!

Ooooh the drama!  I guess, Dewey has no problem juggling two relationships!

McCall/Year 3/Week 3/ Day 5

It should be Snowflake Day, but I really need to check my Tempest settings because it's not showing as a holiday and the boys are off to school again.  I couldn't help decorating though!  Don’t mind the fly swarmed cake on the floor. It’s still there from the night before when I was cleaning out inventory!

Well after the boys got home from school, they were completely exhausted so it's off to bed!  Aww!  Look at poor Trevor yawning!

With the McCall's calling it an early night I went in search of someone else to drop in on.  I got a notification earlier in the day that Rian was demoted so I chose him.  Well, well, well..look who he called to cheer him up after his break up and his demotion.  

They went for a friendly Karaoke session and of course who should randomly be there, but Stacia!  He wouldn't go on the stage at first..he kept getting the thought bubble with a dagger in it and the near enemy moodlet!

I guess in the nearly year since they broke up, Britta has decided they can be friends and they actually had a blast singing together.  It was pretty cute!

Looks like the McPhearson's are here and Whoa!  What's this!?  Rian went in for a heat of the moment kiss!  We'll have to see if SP pushes them back together or if this is kind of a one night of flirting thing.

Li/Year 3/Week 2/Day 2

It's about three in the morning and it looks like Hiram was having trouble sleeping..it's a good thing there isn't work tomorrow!

Aww how sweet!  It looks like some of our town relationships are progressing!

And what's this!?  Claire was busy setting up a prank in the bathroom and it looks like Tanika is actually going to visit Alex..It's about time!

It's a very rainy morning here in Thicket.  Ya think maybe someone otta go grab the laundry from the clothesline!?

It stayed pretty over cast the entire day, Alissa was busy chatting up Willard Decker while Hiram visited the Gilder Salon.

Claire spent the day with the horses and Cairo and what's this!?  Sasha Kennedy and Brice Fuentes finally got married!! Looks like it was a big affair in town!  Congratulations and I hear that rain on your wedding day is good luck!

Claire took Cairo to the Golden Hound Dog Park!  It was too dark to see who all was there..LOL!

Uh Oh!  Looks like Hiram was the one who set off Claire's booby trap!  He's covered in toilet water!!

So over night I thought I'd drop in on the Fosters to see what was happening since Dewey has been hooking up with Stacia.  Umm..they definitely don't look happy!  They already were not close anymore and Joline was getting suspicious.  Dewey worked up the courage to confess to the affair.

Looks like he's been kicked out of the bedroom for the night.  OMG!!  Joline does NOT mess around!  She was obviously not done with the conversation and went up to the attic to attack him!  She won too!!

Aaaand Dewey lost a snake from his inventory somewhere in the house after all of that!  I don't know if this marriage will recover..especially once Stacia realizes she's pregnant!

Well I guess it's safe to say Rian has no idea yet!

Li/Year 3/Week 1/Day 2

It's Sunday and Claire is over visiting Karim again.  Hiram and Alyssa were out at the Pet Supply Store which makes sense.  They're just heading home.

Well, I have to say I'm not really surprised about this.  Even though Britta is quite happy with Rasheed, I may move her back in with her sister for a bit.  They have plenty of room and with the relationship strained between Britta and Stacia this might prove to be too awkward.

And it looks like there's going to be another wedding in Thicket!  Two more NPC's are getting married!

It's a lovely summer evening.  This picture kind of makes me want to sit on a porch or deck out in the country somewhere and just relax!

Claire is taking care of the horses while Alyssa tries and fails to tip the cow!

Everyone is tucked in for the night and Cairo the dog is in his normal place guarding his home and family.
