#rib dislocation

I want to start sewing my own clothes because our tastes in fashion tend to be challenging to find. Also, I'm gonna be Korra for Halloween and I'm going to sew my costume.

I've been researching a bunch and learning more about various aspects of clothing design and fabrics. My sewing skills are pretty good but clothing is a very different skillset than making plushies, particularly patterning.

The biggest hurdle I've found with getting started is not having a dressform. But, after some googling, I found a tutorial for a diy dressform and got started on it this morning with the help of our partner.

This is what I have so far!

We still have some more taping to do before I can stuff it, but I'm super excited!

Unfortunately we had to stop for today because I dislocated a rib but I got it back in and the pain is mostly gone now.

I'm super excited to be able to start patterning!

I have: - started sleeping on my side again (for 15 minute intervals only when I snooze my alarm in the morning) - moved up one dildo size

i hate when i find a sitting position that’s SO COMFY OMG until my rib discreetly slides out of place and pokes me in the guts and WONT GO BACK IN PLACE NO MATTER WHAT I DO

My rib has been out all evening, to the point that I'm considering trying to figure out a way to pop it back into place. Any recommendations? It's out at the back, going towards the interior of my body.
