Cake for every sabbat for busy (or lazy) witches!
Dearests we are already in Mabon and every day closer to Samhain, so if you're a busy person (or a lazy ass like myself) here I share my recipe for a seasonal cheesecake.
Is cheese a product of all the harvests? No. But I like cheesecake.
Then again, I’ll just be making this til the end of my days cuz I‘m too lazy for doing anything else every month of every year. Honestly I’m surprised that I even do something in the fisrt place.
INGREDIENTS
Cookie crumbs.
Melted butter.
SEASONAL MIX: milk and egg puree for Imbolc /ostara; vaporated milk and lemon juice for beltane/Litha; corn puree for Lammas; cooked pumpkin and cinnamon for mabon/samhain; rice puree for Yule.
A bar of cream cheese per 2 pounds of seasonal mix
Vanilla extract (not for the lemon one ugh)
Cream
A lot of sugar
HOW TO?
Use the butter and the crumbs to make the crust in whatever you're gonna use for the cake.
The mix the rest of the ingredients (seasonal mix, vanilla extract, the cheese, most cream and the lot of sugar) (except the cream and some of the cinnamon) and put it in the bowl or whatever you're using.
Put the cream and some of the cinnamon over the cake and put it in the fridge over a night.
That's it
This one is for Mabon/Samhain, meaning pumpkin and cinnamon.
