YES all your thoughts on the situation are mine. Like the main guy in charge said that they never planned for them to actually end up together which I can accept but the way they did it was just so dumb. They originally thought hunter couldn't do the last two episodes and honestly the ending they had for them then would've been better than what they pulled out after they found out he could come back. It's just so thrown together and messy?? For all of them??

Yup – it was just a let-down after everything that had already happened in the season. And the whole lying/everything else that followed just felt ridiculous and out of character and I’m just upset about it because they really did do a great job of building that relationship to a point where it felt like something had to happen. Although I read somewhere that if they got another season and they were both in it – he’d have wanted them to find their way to each other. So who really knows. But either way it’d have been much better to leave it open-ended rather for him to elope. Bc honestly?? it feels like that move Shelby did when she pretended to sleep with Caleb – that’s how ridiculous I found it. And I’m sure that wasn’t the intention on the writer’s part.

i mean – they addressed a lot of important issues in the season and overall, i did really like this latter half of the episodes (although hunter can be thanked for a lot of that and i think his character brought a lot to the show, regardless of the romantic subplot.) so i wouldn’t say it was for nothing. but after this i don’t think caleb and shelby are endgame – it’s clearly clay or someone new (which i really hope doesn’t happen bc however they do it, it’d probably just feel rushed and not meaningful – she needs time to be on her own for a while.) but yeah :/ i’m mad too. they could have done a lot more with it.

I don’t think Caleb even believes in soulmates ?? Like the concept seems very stupid to him but I also feel like after three years with Savannah he’s begun to open up to the idea that maybe some people were meant to meet and have each other in their lives, and that’s the closest he’ll get to actually saying soulmates. But yeah, he mostly just looks for someone who completes him, deals with his antics, understands why is the way he is or why he does the things he does and doesn’t get mad at him for it but tries their best to know him better.
❥ - How often/easily does your muse get heartbroken?
All. The. Damn. Time. I feel like Caleb always presents himself as this very tough and closed off person but he’s actually really sensitive deep down so sometimes what people do or say can get to him even if he doesn’t say it or show it. Like I’m pretty sure his heart broke whenever Darren went back to drugs, whenever his parents would tell him not to come home, when Savannah makes poor choices LIKE IS HIS HEART EVEN CAPABLE OF BEING WHOLE AGAIN. But in terms of love and heartbreak I’d say it doesn’t happen very often if at all because Caleb hardly ever puts himself out there enough to even get heartbroken by a girl, obviously Savannah is different.

Driving around in his car. Rain. Reading. Getting tattoos. Quiet.
✞ - Does your muse have any kind of religion?
When he was younger his parents would take him and Darren to church every Sunday and at that age he was a little more open to the idea of religion just because his parents had always put it in such a positive light i.e. whenever something good would happen his mom would thank god, etc. But as he grew up he started to go to church less and become a lot more troubled and with his bad streak it seemed a little silly to even hold himself to some of the religious standards his parents set for his family so I’d say Caleb does not have any kind of religion. He believes in a higher power but that’s about it.

Tattoos and flowers. I feel like despite those two things being very different it was sort of what he was conditioned to find pretty and beautiful ?? like his dad has tattoos and his mom likes flowers so when he grew up his mom would tell him how pretty his dad’s tats were and vice versa with flowers.
✆ - What is your muse’s phone gallery filled with?
Selfies that Savannah takes of herself on his phone and sets as his background. Nudes of Savannah that he hadn’t deleted since they met. Or photos of family that his mom sends to him sometimes when she misses him. Otherwise Caleb’s phone is pretty empty ?? Like he’s still in that drug dealer burner phone mindset where he doesn’t need his phone for photos or anything really other than to contact people.
❧ - What is your muse’s favorite kind of food?
Caleb loves Italian food. He’s not italian but his mom always liked making big heavy pasta dinners when he was a kid so that’s what he likes eating. He also loves pizza because it’s easy and it’s good and it’s all he lived off of in college (and is what Savannah lives off of as an adult so).

Football :))) and a side of savannah. Also when he gets control of the remote, car radio, and pizza toppings, that makes him happy.

The fact that Darren doesn’t want to go to college or do something important with his life. Like Caleb would do/ and has done everything for his little brother and everyone always tells him that Darren isn’t really worth the effort because he doesn’t even have any dreams or aspirations and it makes Caleb soooooo sad to think about the fact that he put his entire life on pause and went back to dealing for someone whose only interest is being a punk kid on the streets. It also upsets Caleb that Savannah similarly doesn’t really have a set plan or goal in her life in terms of a career.

When someone attacks, figuratively or literally, the people he cares about. Caleb has been trying to keep his anger in check ever since he went back to school and for the most part he can keep himself from throwing punches and turning to violence, but if someone crosses the line and says anything about Darren or Savannah he’ll probably just lose it. Like if he ever saw a guy at the bar slap Savannah’s ass or get too touchy with her he’d go full hulk mode and probably make a huge scene.

Caleb wants to be a defense lawyer because he grew up with a lot of criminals who weren’t so much criminals as they were just stuck in a bad place and stereotypes, background, and all that stuff led them down troubled roads. Basically Caleb just wants to help people who were once like him get back on their feet and stay out of jail.

Not very much?? When Caleb could just be himself when he dealt drugs and didn’t have to worry about school or work he’d just let his stubble grow out and wear his leather jacket x t-shirt x jeans x combat boots outfit every single day. But since he did go back to work and school he’s pretty much forced to care a little about his appearance for the sake of actually keeping said job so he makes a little more of an effort. One of the biggest things he worries about is his tattoos because it can turn employers off a lot of the time but it’s part of who he is so these days he doesn’t try to hide it as much as he tries to explain to people why the way he looks doesn’t affect the way he does his job.
Taylor. Even though things begin in a really rough place for them, their relationship is so important to him. She’s the first person in a long time who has believed in him and the more time they spend together, the more he wants to try to get to a better place in his own life. It’s going to take him a while to figure out exactly what that means for him but it’s a process that Taylor helps start. He loves the person she is and who he is around her. Despite the fact that she drives a Volkswagon Beatle, he loves her.

His mother. Growing up, she tried so hard to make sure Noah was successful. Her tactics might not always have been well thought out but she never wanted to see him fail. She watched him be pulled into the wrong groups of people over and over no matter which school she sent him to. She tried to do what she thought was right when she knew he stole money from her for drugs. She cried as she watched her son spiral out of control. When Noah is angry, he is rarely mindful of his words. Sometimes he meant to hurt her when they fought, he wanted her to feel as low as he was feeling in that moment.

Rachel. She was one of the few girls who hung around with Noah and his friends. They dated on and off right before and during senior year of high school. They enjoyed each other’s company but it wasn’t a high school love story. He often spent nights at her house to get out of his own. Though Noah is generally quiet, they spent a lot of time talking about different things while smoking in her room. He never knew how to respond to Rachel’s stories and problems, but he’d always listen. She went to college in Ohio after graduation and they lost touch.

Noah’s uncle. Absolutely hates Noah for everything he’s put the entire family through. He’s made it very clear that he thinks Noah doesn’t stand a chance on his own and is worthless. Though wishes he had never agreed to take in Noah because clearly Noah is in too deep and unchangeable but he wasn’t going to send his nephew back for his sister’s sake. She had two great daughters to devote her time and energy to, she didn’t need to waste anything on Noah. He could handle Noah for the next two years until he graduated.

top 5 places i would want to live
at the top has to be japan, 100%. i haven’t had the pleasure to visit japan before myself, but i’ve wanted to since i was younger and when my best friend went there for a month and sent me photos and videos, i nearly cried. sometimes you see places and you kind of go “ohhhh, that’s where i’m supposed to be!” i think japan is a place like that for me. i feel like i’d feel comfortable there rather quickly. i’d love to learn more about the history and really learn about the culture and participate in their festivals and what not.
second and third that come to mind are korea and ireland, but i’ll admit those are completely fueled by the sceneries i’ve seen from films and tv-shows. i somehow feel a very strong connection to ireland that i’ve never really been able to explain so maybe i should head over there and see if i feel at home idk??? korea is the same type of feeling for me as with japan, though certainly a little less (i feel a lot stronger about japan). based on what i’ve read and watched from people who moved there, i’d most likely be able to work there which is always a plus hahah.
fourth is canada bc canada just deadass sounds like the place of dreams (and a lot of my friends live there!!) i’ve heard nice things from a friend who was born there but moved here instead and she misses it an incredible amount.
fifth idk. i can’t really pick another country or something so i’ll just say somewhere comfortable in my own country here. i’m currently not where i want to be, i despise my house and location and i’m completely removed from my friends because of it and it’s just nah. i look forward to moving to an apartment a little closer to the city center <333

okay i can be a bit quicker and less wordy about these!
my ultimate favorite animal of all time will forever be a snake (specifically cobras), but snakes in general are just bae to me. second would be cats (oh god i love cats so much), third is probably pigs??? fourth idk hmmmm orcas and sharks are pretty cool as well and fifth maybe owls???
this is actually pretty tough because i love all animals so much <333 i really am not picky about loving animals. if its alive i will probably love the shit out of it. i mean you’re talking to the person who found a gigantic spider on her wall and spent an hour talking and apologizing to it bc i had to put it outside and i couldn’t bring myself to do it jksfhsdhfs or the person who caught her cat pouncing on a bug and who then got angry at her cat and escorted the bug to the window
