So... this is what 50 looks like ?!?!?! How the F did that happen!! Also, since I haven't posted in a month ....... Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone. One of my favourite things about gardening, indoor or outdoor, is experimenting. This was my first, and only so far, attempt at cactus 🌵 from seed... this is one year in!! So tiny that tweezers were definitely required. One mistakes I made was to sow into small pots , when a flat tray would have been so much easier to keep up with. Next time, ill use a tray like in shot 2 and just overseed the whole thing and see what happens. Might not be this year unless I find some in my seed box.. as I have completely exceeded my plant budget for the whole year.. by about 300% ( I did buy a second shelf unit and 7 new grow lights) so I'm going to try my best not to spend another penny. I've been entertaining myself with growing succulents this past year.. trying my hand at propagating them with pretty decent success. Especially the jade finger plant, that one just wants to split. Also, the last shot is a one year anniversary of starting cactus 🌵 from seed.. its a very slow process these are still a third the size if a penny!! Hahaha anyone else have succulents? We are still a week away from spring.. so its a little odd that its 15C outside at the moment, we are usually around the freezing mark.
