Due to the level of interest, I’m going to do my first gardening class in three weeks! We’ll start off with seed starting, because that had the most interest, but I’ll also be covering many other topics over the following weeks. This first class will be Saturday the 12th at 7pm (PST). If you can’t make it at that time, I’ll also be doing it Tuesday the 15th at 4pm. I’m hoping that by doing them on different days and at different times, that most people will be able to attend one of them.
Here’s the description for the first one:
This is your chance to learn all about seed starting for beginners. The focus is on starting vegetables that will thrive in our specific climate and avoiding common mistakes. Topics covered will include: seed variety recommendations, seed company recommendations, timing for transplant and direct sowing, and methods for indoor and outdoor seed starting suited for the Maritime Pacific Northwest. This will be a 40 minute class, followed by a Q&A period. The class will be recorded, so please turn off your camera at the start of class if you don’t want your face shown. $20 per class, and you will get a link to a page of information and you are always welcome to ask me questions directly at any time.
If you’d like to register, please pm me! If income is a barrier, please message me so we can work something out. I cannot express how happy I am to be teaching these classes again! :)
I would like to say that though it says it’s specifically for my home region, seed starting basics are pretty universal, it’s really just the seed varieties and companies that are locally relevant.
