Enjoy the delicious tastes of a classic banana split with this rich parfait. This dessert is perfect for any Southern event because it has layers of graham cracker crust, creamy fillings, fresh fruits, and rich toppings.
Ingredients: 2 cups graham cracker crumbs. 1 cup unsalted butter, melted. 2 cups powdered sugar. 8 oz cream cheese, softened. 1 20 oz can crushed pineapple, drained. 4 large bananas, sliced. 1 3.4 oz box instant banana cream pudding. 3 cups whole milk. 1 8 oz container frozen whipped topping, thawed. 1 cup chopped nuts pecans or walnuts. 1 cup maraschino cherries, drained. 1/2 cup chocolate syrup.
Instructions: Put graham cracker crumbs and melted butter in a bowl and mix them together. To make the crust, press it into the bottom of a 9x13-inch dish. Powdered sugar and cream cheese should be mixed together in a different bowl until the mixture is smooth. Spread it on top of the graham cracker crust. Put crushed pineapple on top of the cream cheese mixture, then banana slices. Whisk the banana cream pudding mix and milk together in a large bowl until they are well mixed. Put it on top of the banana layer. Put whipped topping on top of the pudding layer, and then add chopped nuts on top of that. Put maraschino cherries on top of the parfait and drizzle chocolate syrup over it. Put in the fridge for at least four hours before serving.
