Here's a weird (and rare) one I saw today at @12fretguitar in #Toronto. It's a 1973 #Rickenbacker #480, and I'm pretty sure #Ric designed it specifically for guitar players who want to emulate Geddy Lee but don't want to switch to bass! 😁 But seriously, looks like one of the #Ricky #4000 series #bassguitars, no? I had never seen one of these before...not even a photo of one. This model was made between '73 and '84. The finish is cleverly called "burgundy" (I think "bur-glo" would have been snappier!), and it has a bolt-on neck - another feature I have never seen on a Rickenbacker.
