Gina seems to have a greater capacity to GET Ricky. sorry to Big Red and Nini I mean they try but it’s hard to understand someone from a broken family when your’s is anything but

Ricky is the first person Gina opens up to at East High. That’s a big deal. My girl didn’t even flinch when Nini stole her LAPTOP but she invited Ricky to see her home and was vulnerable about how hard it was moving 5 schools in 7 years

Gina needs a friend. Like so bad. Ricky is a good friend. 

They clearly have chemistry on screen.

Their storyline would be SO INTERESTING. I love Rickini but you have to admit it has so much potential to be predictable and bland. Ginicky is kind of a wild card romance.

Cinematic parallels and general hilarity of EJ “stealing” Nini from Ricky and Ricky “stealing” Gina from EJ (as far as Ricky knows)

Nini doesn’t get sucked back into her old relationship and her storyline can better focus on finding her own identity as an individual

AGAINST:

Gina stole Nini’s phone. I think people tend to forget this one since EJ was the one who actually used it but yeah, that has serious potential to blow up when Ricky finds out.

Ricky is still so clearly into Nini. He needs to resolve that before getting together with Gina

Gina needs a friend. Like someone she can really depend on. IDK about you but high school relationships tend to burn short and bright. Maybe it's better if they stayed platonic

i want Gina and Nini to be friends. I want Gina x Nini x Kourney to get stuck together and bond. That’s less likely to happen if Gina and Ricky get together

I don’t want Gina to be stuck pining for a boy/sucked into the drama. Her character has been so strong and it seems kind of out of character for her to go boy crazy at the first guy who shows interest. I’d much rather she show her soft side in other ways (talking to her mom, bonding with Carlos etc)

The death of lesbian/asexual Gina. I don’t really need another hetero ship i’d like to reserve more screentime for Seblos please

You know, I don't really remember. I only recently started shipping them really hard.

Yes, well, it was more or less implied. Still kinda cute, though.

I don't think any of these are canon so I don't know.

Chris and Jill, mostly because they have dealt with zombies before

Considering the time period the show is based on... other than that I see no reason.

No.

No, but there are moments. A LOT of moments.

Well we have magic, experience with dinosaurs, experience with zombies and mutants, a pairing with the avatar, and incarnations of the force, so I have no fucking idea.

17. Has anyone ever tried to sabotage 5’s ship? 

The son, unintentionally.

18. Which ship(s) would you defend to the death and beyond? 

Rickina and Korrasami.

No not yet.

You know, probably valenfield.  Way too attached to everything else.
