Why is there always someone going "no! I don't wanna take personal responsibility for my spending habits! Stop oppressing me!"
https://eu.usatoday.com/story/money/2019/05/07/americans-spend-thousands-on-nonessentials/39450207/
And of course it’s lesbwian posting this strawman socialist garbage even though the infographic is about the spending of the average American, because why she? Of course the block happy coward would post something completely wrong.
...So you’re saying OP was wrong?
Literally just making sandwiches is cheaper and healthier than buying food from other people. Like I said, if you have time to extensively complain about how you can’t cook online, you probably have time to cook.
My grooming involves occasionally buying lotion, razor blades, toiletries and cutting my own hair. I’m not sure I’ve spent $100 in the past three months. My biggest recurring expense is my frigging toilet paper.
It’s amazing how someone can literally acknowledge how the infographic post says “average American” and then still use the minimum wage numbers. That is incredibly stupid.

Oh look, the average American is apparently paid almost four times more than minimum wage.
But why would I expect common sense from these folks.
Which...would be true. Some go broke because they waste money on crap they don’t need.
Apparently poor people are completely immune to poor money manageme-
Wait a second. That’s not an actual counterargument. If people become and stay poor because they waste their money, that means this applies to them. You don’t have to waste as much money as the infographic, specifically, to keep yourself in poverty.
People waste money on crap they can’t afford all the time, at every economic level. Poor people are not immune.
I have seen many people fighting tooth and nail to defend the practice of poor people spending hundreds a month eating out. Eat fast food for breakfast and lunch and occasionally dinner, and you could very, very easily end up in the $200 range. I don’t think it’s laziness, I think lots of people just don’t know any better.
Except for the “I hate personal responsibility” folks, of course. In their case, the system is apparently forcing them to eat bad food.

Cats suck for plenty of people. Stop trying to...
nobody is telling you to shut up about it, but god we want to

Personally, I like the ratio. The stuff that's off topic to SocJus/politics is a good balance.
Cool, thanks!

Oh, it’s Max Raabe. Awesome. He’s the one behind...
I’m afraid not, that’s quite different.
I have discovered that it’s a band called Gregorian. Here’s this song from midway through one of their concerts that’s up on youtube.
