Astounding — I've been gone for nearly two years, and this town; seemingly, at least, has not changed one bit. I don't know if I'm thrilled, or petrified, seeing as this little nook has yet to accumulate any excitement.

I'm literally in love with the music.
"You said these are special brownies? --- What's so special about them?"
"---." He's confused so he's not going to say anything.
"W-Why do you keep looking at me like that?"
"--" Alexander has been purposely ignoring the other for a good amount of time, their incomprehensible drivel boring him almost as soon as it began. Eventually, he turns his head, an eyebrow cocked and a freshly-lit cigarette dangling precariously from his lips as he interrupts them. "You do realize I'm not listening to anything you're saying -- right?"
So! My New Year's Resolution is to not make a resolution, because my hopes will get up and eventually be crushed by reality. What about everyone else?
I've had four cups of coffee and I think I might be having a heart attack. Can that happen?
