no argenti novaflare. from a business perspective that makes complete sense, but it is very disheartening..... it has been 1 ½ years since he had a rerun/any way to obtain him. i was hoping that at the least a buff would incite that, but now its looking like another half yr at least.
i dont even want him to be meta or bis anywhere, just not as useless as he is or as forgotten as he is. since they rerun characters post-buff, black swan moving means he is now in last place for runs/shop/50:50 loss pool. rappa/dhil/aven are tied for 2nd, and are literally 3 patches ahead of him. its ridiculous.
story-wise, argenti has no obvious relevance. most of my posts on him/idrila are talking about the relevance of the beauty in hsr-verse, i stand by most of them, but argenti himself shows up for nothing more than comedic relief 90% of the time. his own story quest serves as more of an introduction for the swarm/evernight. they hit something w aghl pushing, but you can see how little value that adds to his characters likeability on its own. with dhil, aven, and rappa, they all had very large chunks of their story in the game, they're just meta-irrelevant (or for rappa, japanese-inspired during political tensions.)
i was half joking when i said i would bench the game during 4.x over it, but it really does get to a point..! when your favorite character is so irrelevant that his existence in the game means nothing as is, its hard to look on the bright side.
