I can’t wait to work with my boy tomorrow🫶🏼 Ruger is very green and has a lot of anxiety & I can’t wait to work with him more. Right now I’m focusing on getting the basics back on track with him.

Befor 2 days at midday we arrived in Horum (Friesland).

We are living this week in a rented flat, around us pure nature and the sea is near too.

The hotel "Frieslandstern" was a dairy farm, now it is a riding stable with flats.

We have "Wattenmeer/mud flat" here.

So the water is only there every 12h and after it, a loooooot of mud and water lakes.

Sammy is in heaven: nature, sea, mud and he is allowed in the stables.

The weather is still okay but should change soon.

As most of you know, I'm moving to Virginia in less than a month.  Not entirely thrilled with it, but let's not dwell on that.

I need your help.

If you know any good barns in the Williamsburg area, please please let me know.  Eventing barn would be a plus, but if not that's okay.  Really, what I'm looking for is a barn that's not show-centric (but still has the opportunity for shows) and will accept working students.

found out i have a kindof reputation at the riding stable i go to apparently a lot of them respect me because i not only successfully ride one of their worst-behaving horses each week, i actually ask for her HELL YES
