hello autistic people and ttrpg actual-play fans. in these trying times i am once again recommending strawburry17's eight-episode series the unleashed for being some of the greatest autistic representation i've ever seen in media as well as a spectacular (albeit unintentional) allegory for aspie supremacy and disabled respectability politics. i love this series so much and especially with the Everything going on rn it's quickly making its way back up to the top of my comfort series list. also aabria iyengar is the gm which is a reason to watch on its own tbh

I was reminded that the TTRPG series The Unleashed exists and Obviously, I had to start rewatching the entire thing and oh my gosh I forgot how much I love this show. I’m pretty sure that Charlie is committing actual literal crimes but I love her with all my heart, Phee and Mara please just kiss already, Aabria just wants to cause chaos and I love that for her she's the best GM, Dante is still the absolute worst someone needs to flick him on the forehead, and I FORGOT ABOUT ALL THE CORN PUNS!!!!

I like shows like The Unleashed and Dimension 20 because one episode they're having intense psychological conversations about deception and morality and loyalty and then the next episode they're giving a chew toy to a huge mech lion or disguising themselves as a French avocado, y'know?

ok so i keep thinking about my scene as charlie, when i’m fighting lina. because i rolled high enough, i got to decide that she was, for a moment, afraid of charlie. and i just can’t get over the thought that lina, terrifying, cut throat, hard a** lina, is afraid of charlie. because what kind of fearless, psychopathic 16 year old would willingly walk into a fight like that and not stop swinging back no matter what
