1 For, behold, a righteous king shall reign, and princes shall govern with judgement.
2 And a man shall hide his words, and be hidden, as from rushing water, and shall appear in Sion as a rushing river, glorious in a thirsty land.
3 And they shall no more trust in men, but they shall incline their ears to hear.
4 And the heart of the weak ones shall attend to hear, and the stammering tongues shall soon learn to speak peace.
5 And they shall no more at all tell a fool to rule, and thy servants shall no more at all say, Be silent.
6 For the fool shall speak foolish words, and his heart shall meditate vanities, and to perform lawless deeds and to speak error against the Lord, to scatter hungry souls, and he will cause the thirsty souls to be empty.
7 For the counsel of the wicked will devise iniquity, to destroy the poor with unjust words, and ruin the cause of the poor in judgement.
8 But the godly have devised wise measures, and this counsel shall stand.
The Women of Jerusalem
9 Rise up, ye rich women, and hear my voice; ye confident daughters, hearken to my words.
10 Remember for a full year in pain, yet with hope: the vintage has been cut off; it has ceased, it shall by no means come again.
11 Be amazed, be pained, ye confident ones: strip you, bare yourselves, gird your loins;
12 and beat your breasts, because of the pleasant field, and the fruit of the vine.
13 As for the land of my people, the thorn and grass shall come upon it, and joy shall be removed from every house.
14 As for the rich city, the houses are deserted; they shall abandon the wealth of the city, and the pleasant houses: and the villages shall be caves for ever, the joy of wild asses, shepherds' pastures;
15 until the Spirit shall come upon you from on high, and Chermel shall be desert, and Chermel shall be counted for a forest.
16 Then judgement shall abide in the wilderness, and righteousness shall dwell in Carmel.
17 And the works of righteousness shall be peace; and righteousness shall ensure rest, and the righteous shall be confident for ever.
18 And his people shall inhabit a city of peace, and dwell in it in confidence, and they shall rest with wealth.
19 And if the hail should come down, it shall not come upon you; and they that dwell in the forests shall be in confidence, as those in the plain country.
20 Blessed are they that sow by every water, where the ox and ass tread.

A/n: hey peeps! Got another interesting Request that i fell in love with! Let’s imagine this taking place in Jotunheim like in Thor. Hope you lords enjoy!!!
Request: @maroonracoonlagoon said: Could you write a mini fic of Loki x Goddess!Reader where reader is the goddess of life and destruction (can destroy anything they please, but can also heal/repair anything. Only downside is the healing process hurts 2x as much as the original injury) Where during a battle, Loki loses an arm and Reader feels really bad about it but heals/regenerates his arm. Oki thx m8
“Listen brother! We can not be the reason to start a war!” Loki proclaimed. You nodded your head but the others didn't agree with his opinion.
“They’ve already started it Loki, our job is to end it. Now… WHO WANTS TO SAVE ASGARD?” Thor asked raising his hammer in the air and waving it like a baton. Loki and you looked at each other in disapproval but ended up following them. As we all rode our horses over the bridge, we came to a stop in front of Heimdall.
“Thor! I can not let you pass without All Fathers permission!” You all looked at each other then Thor spoke up once again.
“I will soon be the righteous king of Asgard. If you let us pass, I will offer you a wish.” Heimdall thought for a second before he walked up the steps towards the centre.
“If anything goes wrong, you shall be the one to take responsibility!” As he said those words, he inserted his sword and turned it. In a matter of seconds, you all landed in a icy blue realm.
“Jotunheim.” Loki gasped at the sight of the deserted place, or as you all thought it was.
“So this is where the King lost his eyes!” Fandral said in aw.
“Well, he did put an end to the war but here we are, trying to break the peace between both realms.” You mumbled.
“Thor Odinson! Why are you stepping feet onto my land?” You all turned into different directions, looking for the man behind the voice.
“Were only here to talk peace with you once again!” Loki proclaimed, trying not to make any moves. You all waited for the man to speak up again, thats until you saw him.
“Laufey!” They all turned to the man standing right in front of you. The asgardians weren't kidding when they said he's giant!
“Frost giants tried to steal the tesseract from Asgard. YOU are the one who stepped foot into our land FIRST!” Thor pointed out.
“Well what’s done is done so why don't you carry on with your little group of friends.” The frost giant mocked us. Anger was boiling in you and the others but it’s better to leave this place with no trouble. You all turned around and were on your way out, that’s until we heard Laufey call us Puny Gods.
Thor immediately started swinging his hammer and released it towards Laufeys head, throwing him backwards. Frost giants started emerging from all direction and ran towards us. You used your quick reflexes to release a mist of fog towards twenty different giants and killed them within seconds.
“DO NOT LET THEM TOUCH YOU!” You heard Volstagg yell. You turned to look at his hand and it was blue. As soon as you turned back, a giant lunged towards you and pushed you down. You held onto its chest just in time to stop it from touching you.
“AHHHH!!!’ You threw another mist of radiation towards where Loki was and ran to his side. You looked down to see that the giant has cut off his arm.
“Listen to me! I’m gonna heal you but you gotta brace yourself.” You tried to be calm as possible so you won't make him scared. You held onto his shoulder and made a gold mist with your hands. You roughly slammed your fists into his shoulder and held him down.
“ARGHHH! NO STOP! PLEASE! STOP!” Loki pleaded but you wanted to make sure he's okay. He squirmed beneath you but at this moment, you knew you were much stronger than him.
“Shhh! Shhh! It’s okay, you're going to be fine. Just bare with me for few more seconds okay?” You asked and he nodded his head and laid against your left chest. You combed his hair with your finger, trying to sooth him with your warmth.
“LOOK OUT!” Hogun shouted before launching an icicle right above your head. The ground started shaking violently below you. You looked up to see a large creature, slowly breaking out of the ice it was frozen in.
“C’MON! WE GOTTA GO!” Sif yelled at you but you weren't planning on getting up any time sooner. Loki looked up at you worriedly. You smiled down at him.
“It’s okay! I’m going to get us out of here. One last push.” You pressed down harder to decrease the time.
“C’mon, C’mon, C’mon,”
“ARGHH!” You regenerated his arm and pulled him up with you. You stopped for a split second to form a cloud of poison and threw it towards the beast but it didn't seem to kill it. You ran for your life and reached towards the end with all the others. You were now surrounded by the giants, thats until a beam of light struck right in front of you and tossed the frost giants back. It was King Odin.
As soon as you landed in Asgard, you were sent to the healing chamber because of Fandral. You held your hand above his abdomen and once again, used your powers to heal him. To everyones surprise, it healed him within seconds unlike Loki.
“Where is Loki?” As soon as you asked, you saw Loki walk into the chamber. He looked upset for some reason.
“Thor is gone.” You all stared at him blankly.
“What?” Fandral tried to get up but failed to when you held him down by the shoulder.
“H-He’s gone. Father has sent him into one of the nine realms.” Sif walked towards him but stopped.
“You told him, didn’t you?” Sif gave an evil grin towards Loki, which made him look down.
“I did. But if I did not, none of us would have made it out alive! If it wasn’t for Lady Y/n, Fandral and I would not be alive right now! Be happy I did such a thing!” He retorted. Everyone other than you were giving death stares towards Loki.
“Traitor.” Sif walked out with Hogun, Volstagg and Fandral, leaving you behind.
“Guys! What’s done is done, you can’t change the past.” You yelled at them.
“But we can change who we trust and follow.” Hogun said before leaving the chamber. You sat down in disbelief. Your childhood best friend is now somewhere far away from you and all of you are splitting up in the worst ways. Loki walked you to your room and stayed at the door for a while. You didn’t bother to close the door because you were too upset. You fell onto the bed and started sobbing loudly, causing Loki to come in and stand by your bed.
“Lady Y/n?” Loki whispered in your direction.
“Leave. Please.” You didn’t want to seem too harsh towards the man since he’s already hurt.
“I’m sorry.” Is all you heard before you fell into a deep sleep.
We serve Big God and we are must work our own salvation with fear and trembling. I believe that we all must fear God and know that He is Righteous King that must reverence. His love always gives us the opportunity to confess and repent of our sin. Jesus loves us to demonstrate His love on the Cross.
Feeling clingy [ B) cant let you escape the memes ]
☾ —
Did he really want his attention right now, in front of everyone? It wasn't that they were actually in front of everyone, but the entire team was there as they were watching one of their rival teams's games go on at the moment, wanting to see the outcome and wanting to study their rival's strategy and such.
But here Kageyama was, pressing his shoulder, a bit hard, into Kei's shoulder, his eyes practically glue onto Kei's hands. Kei could feel their legs touching, too, with their knees lightly brushing, their shoes pressed together. He could practically feel Kageyama's sudden want of his attention radiating from the other boy, which made him wonder if anyone else could sense it, too. Kei wasn't sure if he should be concerned or happy; he was happy that Kageyama wanted his attention, but he was concerned about the timing in which Kageyama wanted his attention.
"We're at a game." Kei mumbled to the other, narrowing his eyes some at the raven haired male. "Can't you wait?"
He got a stubborn response as Kageyama's hand merely grabbed hold of one of Kei's, holding it tightly. It felt more of a clingy touch than a cuddling one, and Kei swore he felt Kageyama's hand shaking, even. With a quiet sigh, Kei moved their hands down, between their legs that were touch. Maybe their knees would hide the fact that they were holding hands, if it weren't for how obvious their arms were giving it away, anyways.
What kind of luck did Kei have. It certainly wasn't good luck, but it wasn't bad, either. More like unfortunate luck. When Daichi and Suga were trying to figure out bedding placement in their much smaller room this time, it turned out that they had paired up Kei with the one and only, Kageyama. What luck.
He climbed onto the futon, alone for the moment, and he sighed to himself. He took his glasses off, setting them aside next to the futon. Lying on his side, he just stared off towards the rest of the futons that were laid out beside the one he laid on. Yamaguchi and Hinata were already passed out in the futon next to him, which gave him some relief that he was still next to Yamaguchi. But he still felt unsettled, and tense. His stomach kept doing little flips, and it was getting on his nerves.
"Move over." Kei glanced over his shoulder, seeing Kageyama beginning to get into the futon with him. A slight scowl became present, and Kei made no protest as he scooted his body over to make way for Kageyama. But he was on the edge now, the knee of his bent leg now touching the cold ground.
There was a silence then, the entire room quiet except for the rustling of blankets as others moved in their sleep, the snoring from Tanaka and Daichi, the incoherent mumbles from some of the other members. Kei's heart was beating pretty hard for some reason, the silence setting him on edge. Sleeping like this with the team usually never bothered him, but it was this time, and he didn't know why. Then Kageyama broke the silence. "Hey."
"--what?"
"Come closer." The demand made Kei furrow his eyebrows, peering over his shoulder at Kageyama, who's back was to him.
Right now, Kei was tired and he was feeling more anxious than he should be. Had Kageyama sensed that about him? Was he trying to care about it? Without thinking on it too much, Kei moved back on the futon, closer to Kageyama. Their upper backs touched, and their butts touched slightly at the same time. Kei could feel his feet beginning to touch Kageyama's legs, so he straightened them out, not wanting to have Kageyama to yell at him for touching him. "Now go to sleep." grumbled the setter, who was practically smooshing half of his face into his pillow.
Maybe Kageyama had noticed that he was anxious. It was pretty out there, but Kei wouldn't doubt him too much. Kei let out a quiet sigh through his nose, letting his eyes fall close. Their backs touching calmed him, and made him less anxious. Before he knew it, he was already drifting off into a deep sleep, but not before he felt Kageyama roll over, an arm falling over Kei's stomach.
"Lord, who may dwell in Your sanctuary? Who may live on Your holy hill? He whose walk is blameless and who does what is righteous, who speaks the truth from his heart." Psalm 15:1-2
"I cannot believe they are not going to honor my bonus agreement," said the executive who was about to take another position in a new city. Her understanding of her present work agreement called for a bonus at the end of the year. Management saw the situation differently. "It's not right. I am entitled to that bonus," she complained.
It was time to leave. The company had given her a laptop to use. However, when she left, she decided that because the company was not going to pay her the bonus she was entitled to, she would simply keep the laptop as compensation due her. "And they would never miss it," she reasoned. She was now in the employment of the new company. As each day passed, she grew uneasier about her decision. She could not get it off her mind. Finally, she concluded that the Holy Spirit was telling her this decision was wrong and that she needed to call her former boss to confess her action. She called him and confessed what she had done and why she had done it. Her boss accepted her confession and forgave her. Strangely enough, he allowed her to keep the laptop computer.
Truth never changes. It is absolute. When we make decisions based on other actions that are taken, we move into making decisions based on the situation, not truth and righteousness. The executive may indeed have been wronged, but she had to address the wrong in the appropriate way. Trying to compensate for the wrong by doing something that violates another scriptural principle is called situational ethics. If the employer had never wronged the executive, do you think she would have felt justified in taking the computer? Probably not. When you isolate the two situations, you see that one action was taken in response to the other action. Have you had any experiences in which you have used situational ethics? The Lord desires His people to have a higher standard, even at the cost of being wronged. Ask the Lord to reveal any business practices that may indicate situational ethics. You might be surprised what will happen when you do the right thing.
