That smell.. how annoying!

Canting his head Shuten picks up on the redolent scent of sickly-sweet aroma. It’s vaguely familiar to him and if he tries a little too hard to conjure any memories connected the cloying odor he feels sick, rather, drunk. Not to say he is, the Oni hasn’t indulged in hours but trying to remember forgotten things always makes him feel this way. Irritated. Confused. Volatile. 

His heavy stride remains the same as he turns a corner and continues down a shady avenue, teeth gritting together in building vexation and before he reaches the end Shuten stops midway. The sun has set low on the horizon by now and the buildings cast elongated shadows shrouding his towering form, but even in the dark his silhouette is a formidable image.
