It’s been a couple of years since Free! ended and I’m apparently still very salty:

I've watched all the episodes for god knows how many times, until ep10 came along. Like I've only watched ep10 once. Once.
From ep10 onwards, I'm sure it's gonna be about RinrinrinrinrinrinrinMakotoHaruIwatobiSamezukaRinrinrinrinrinrinrinrinrinrinrinrinrinrinrinrinrinrinrinrinrinrinrinrinrinrinrin.
I've started to like Rin this season but there's just something in the way Kyoani features Rin that can't make me like him 100%. Nope, it's not because I'm a makoharu shipper. I can't figure what it is just yet.
I started to hate Rin in season 1 because he was being such a big jerk to Haru but in the end he was the one consoled. Like what?? And Rin taking Rei's spot in butterfly was the final nail of the coffin. Season 2's almost over but I still hate Rin for replacing Rei. And it's not Iwatobi's fault. Rin already recovered from his breakdown and he could've refused but he didn't. He didn't.
Until the first few minutes of ep12 of S1, I still feel good watching Free!. Beyond that, I've hated that episode with all my heart. With all my heart. I still can't bring myself to watch that relay. I think this season, as early as ep10 I'm already losing my interest in the whole story.
