every year, during winters in kamakura, there is a hotel who makes the snow experience wonderful & delightful. when i was a kid, i went there with my parents and my brother. they teased me that i should bring my future girlfriend/wife here. and now here i am, celebrating new years with my wife @bakugoushotwife and my angel of a daughter — yumiko. happy new year baby, i promise to spoil you so much you wouldn’t need to ever use your brain for anything except joyful things. <3

“Are you any good at carving pumpkins?”

The uchiha tapped her chin as her eyebrows creased together as she tried to recall a time she had ever carved a pumpkin.

Oh, there's a memory!

Once, as a small child, she had helped Itachi gut and carve a pumpkin. Slimy, stringy seeds had made her hands orange and sticky and somehow it was even on the toddler Sasuke.

Finally, Hokkaido nodded, her face scrunched as a joyous smile spread upon her face. “yes! I do, I was born in October, the very last day of the month, my elder brother and i would carve one every year together”. She pressed her fingers together, a happy sigh exiting her lips.
