Sorry for the messiness. I’m working on making some stuff that’s nice enough to put up on redbubble. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what characters I should make? (Doesn’t have to be Mario)

I really like the way my Squid Sisters doodles came out. Drawing them in that style was really fun. I’m thinking of giving them lineart and celshading them at some point when I’m not so busy with my freelance work. More importantly now that both of the sisters are up, I’m curious to see if Callie will be more popular than Marie or if Marie will keep up her lead.

All I'm gonna say is that I have been breeding 6IV Tepigs and I might have named one of them Kevin Bacon.

So I finished the storyline of Hyrule Warriors. There's still lots of stuff to do in the game, so I'm far from finished, but well...

Don't get me wrong, it's a hella fun game. One fun Zelda reference to another for Zelda fans and I love mowing monsters down with everyone. And oh-me-oh-my that music is fantastic.

But...

I have tried with every fiber of my being to like Lana but I just can't bring myself to. She is SUPER cute and she's fun to play as, but when I see Lana and her part in the story, I am reminded of bad fanfics where the authors write their own mary-su in it to get them in a relationship with the main character. That's what she reminds me of. A mary-su. (Don't even get me started on the fact she gets a Skull Kid costume while WE get NO Skull Kid, save for a half-a-second cameo in Kid Link's moves.)

Don't get the wrong idea, I have no problem with new characters being introduced in the Zelda franchise, I love it! Hell, I even ended up really liking Cia for the cray-cray obsessive fangirl that she is towards Link. I mean, have you seen her stage? Yeesh. But the way they went about Lana is all wrong. You don't make a good character by giving them a cute anime girl look, flashy outfits, giving them all the references to forcefully convince fans that she belongs in the world of Zelda, and give them crazy powers.

I mean for Hylia's sake, they gave her the triforce of power. Seriously? SERIOUSLY? LANA gets the triforce of power? I can't even... please... PLEASE.

The whole I'm-in-love-with-Link thing was completely unnecessary and only proves my Lana-Mary-su image more. If you want to create a new character, that's cool with me man, but don't make her so shallow as that you HAVE to shoehorn the attraction towards Link with her. She could have been a solid character without it. I was rolling my eyes when she was saying goodbye to Link with a sad eyes and hurrying off while Link sadly watches while looking like he just lost a waifu in his harem.

I don't know where I was going with this, but I needed to rant this out. This is my gaming blog so this is where I'm ranting to. Trust me, I don't blame anyone for taking a liking to Lana, I really don't. All the more power to you. This is solely just my opinion. I really do love the game and it's super fun and there are plenty of scenes in this game that I loved (my favorite was Ghirahim and Zant's endless kissing-of-Ganandorf's-ass scene, as it made me chuckle.)

It's definitely a recommendation to Zelda fans.

I am still waiting for someone to explain to me why Agitha is a playable character in this, though. You guys seriously couldn't have found one other character from Twilight Princess to put in there? Not ONE?

I just started shiny iv breeding for my Chespin when a shiny accidentally hatched too early. (Seriously, I've never had a shiny hatch that quickly before but it always happened under unfavorable circumstances ORZ) So he unfortunately only has 2IVs in Attack and Speed.

His name is Snicklefritz and he's adamant natured, has the HA Bulletproof, his characteristic is "likes to thrash about", and has the egg move Belly Drum.

If anyone would like to trade a shiny for him, please let me know. He needs a good home. ;u;

IV shiny-breeding is so addictive but requires SO much patience.

I've been trying to breed for a shiny Tepig with 5 perfect IVs. Today a shiny hatched and I was super excited, only to find out that it had perfect IVs for everything except Attack, which is the ONE that I needed him to be perfect in the most.

Is anyone interested in trading for my shiny Tepig? He has perfect IVs in HP, Defense, Special Attack, Special Defense, and Speed. He's adamant natured and has the egg move superpower. I also just infected him with Pokerus. I nicknamed him Hamlet, so if you want him to have another name, let me know so I can rename him for you.

I'd prefer another shiny or legendary. Anybody interested?

I hate it when people give pokemon the worst names on purpose. I just received a Dialga called jewsdid911 and I'm so pissed. I want one without the name but I don't really want to give anyone else this terribly named baby. : \ I should get rid of it, huh.

This is one of the times where I'm upset that we're unable to rename traded pokemon. People are such assholes.

Aaahh, got a shiny Rayquaza in GTS today while I've been breeding for a Tepig!! 8D He's so neat, I love him~ <33
