"Now I've become so numb that I can't even feel the cold." —Paultin for anyone (either part of the verse)
Escher sat silently just outside the tavern, wearing Paultin's coat actually. The former vampire was unable to enter the Tavern where "Paultin" had set up his base of operations. He wasn't evil. Maybe a bit morally grey, but apparently he wasn't worked enough to merit entry. So he made camp in front of the building. He looked over at the bard, brow furrowed as he tried to discern if this was actually Paultin talking to him, his Paultin, or the cold creature he was growing accustomed too. He couldn't tell.
"Numbness doesn't negate the damage caused by it. In fact, it just makes you more likely to get hurt and simply not realize it," he said, turning away to watch the snow covered landscape.
