I made one, but I feel like I need a bigger one
I dyed some white linen using pomegranate a couple of weeks ago, and then made a ring pouch using the dyed naterial
The inner ring is wood rather than ivory (for hopefully obvious reasons) and I have slightly altered how it sits due to the thickness of the linen. The outer fabric is the pomegranate dyed linen, and the inner fabric is a similar linen but in grey. All stitching was by hand, and done using a cream linen thread.
Shown alongside the pouch in the photos are a leather belt, two horn spoons, a bone comb, and a goose bone flute/whistle.
Ring Pouch
Borrowing a bit from our existing wrap-around pouch design, the Ring Pouch adds new functionality & materials. Constructed out of various thicknesses of waxed canvas, these pouches add a leather tether that is attached to grommets on one end and a heavy-duty solid brass keyring on the other. The ring is attached to the leather by tightly winding waxed linen thread.
Available now in our SHOP.
Slate Grey & Black waxed on a piece of slate.
We found some really nice solid brass split-rings that are 'Made in Japan.' Each ring is handwound using waxed linen thread.
This undyed natural waxed canvas is a particular color that we have been requesting for a few years now.
