Joined the Middlesex Association Learners’ outing to Wimbledon yesterday. First stop, St Mary’s Church, Merton Park. Nice ground floor ring, and you can see the bells turning in the last video through the louvred windows of the #belltower. I rang #callchanges on #bell 3 and 4. All the bells are rather loud as they are right above your head, and bell 3 is very loud in the church as it is hung over the church and the other 5 are hung over the #ringingchamber. And the church is also famous for being #nelson’s church.
