(i was looking for art of them both together and when i found that one i thought it was too funny to pass up lol)

4. have they broken any rules they now regret breaking?

Rinna has a lot of emotions about a lot of things that happened during her teen years, but she no longer considers those emotions to be regrets anymore.

Nin is the kind of gentle, extremely calm and collected person who will tell you with a smile that nothing they may have done ever broke any rule whatsoever. Which would technically be true because he finds loopholes in everything.

They both avoid having regrets (whether it has to do with rule-breaking or not), but you can't win all the time.

5. do they find any rules they/others follow absolutely ridiculous?

Being a Dalish diplomat working among a human organisation, there are a lot of things Nin finds ridiculous. Especially the unspoken set of rules one has to apparently follow to the letter when speaking to any Orlesian noble.

Rinna thinks any rule that puts someone above others is ridiculous.

2. can they tell if someone is lying?

They both are pretty good at reading people, so in general yes. Rinna is a little better at it than her brother because she tends to second guess people more than he does.

3. is it obvious when they’re lying?

When Rinna wants to hide something, she'll make sure people won't find it. Nin, on the contrary, can't lie to save his life.

Doing this one for Rinna!

She loves stars and listening to stories about them. She knows the name of many of them and knows how to use them to find her way. She loves talking about stars and the things she loves the most is that there’s always something new to learn about them.

She crafts a lot of things in her free time and is also very interested in blacksmithing, so if she happens to have a conversation with an actual blacksmith she would not let it end for a long long while haha

07. Is there a catchphrase or sound that they tend to make a lot (likely without being aware of it)? 

Nin starts his sentences with ‘well’ a lot. He also unconsciously clicks his tongue when thinking or when faced with a minor inconvenience.

Rinna says ‘fuck’ (and its many colourful variations) a lot. Other than that, she’s a pretty silent person.

Audra’s favourite word is ‘nice’, and she’s the type to find a lot of things to be nice.

Rory hums a lot. His ‘catchphrases’ tend to vary depending on whom he’s with at the time, but the hums are constant, and in any context.

Okay I have to say... these are overall pretty fitting (except Nin dies of old age surrounded by friends and family, so not really heroic or suffering haha) and it makes my heart ache. Rinna’s in particular.
