This shop was certainly out in the middle of nowhere...but that’s sort of what made it exciting! It was like a secret place to find hidden treasure. Mariela often went to Mistwood to pick herbs for her potions so she figured that she would pop into this place to see if she could find anything useful here. She learned of it as a suggestion from one of the women who liked to buy her soaps. Knowing it was a far ride back to Golden Ward she refrained from collecting herbs today, leaving room inside of her potato-sack bag for any useful appliances she might buy here at Kourindou. While she still couldn’t make as many potions as she wanted, they were a hit with guardsmen and adventurers so she’d made enough to get herself a present today. 

Mariela tried to find the clerk among the rows of shelves here, but soon became distracted by a stand mixer. Though it looked a little different than the brand they made in the Labyrinth city she knew it must have the same function. Caroline had taught her that this was much easier to make her sweets with rather than knead-knead-kneading all of that dough for hours. Though she found the effort meditative, she also needed the time to put her alchemy skills to use. It was going to take a lot of work to open her shop on her own again!

“Hellooooo~! Does a Mr. Morichika work here?”

Every year, Kay always makes it a point to hit up the No Place Like Home Decor market. Last year she found a pin that was important to her, and she’s interested to know what could be there this year.

Instead she’s found, well... a lot of junk. Some of it has other people’s names, some of it’s unlabeled, but mostly it’s a bunch of weird things.

She holds up a horribly patterned scarf, and a bunch of weird metal things. Tools, maybe?

“What even is all of this stuff?” She proceeds to put the terrible scarf around her neck, turning to the guy next to her.

“I haven’t found anything good at all yet, have you?”

Scissors scraped against the ground, clearing the concrete trail of dried leaves and withered fruits. Obviously searching for something, the purple haired intoner crawled around on her hands, unapologetically hindering the path of couples taking a leisurely stroll in the park. Every so often, she would pick up a pebble or a stick, shake her head and resumed her idle actions.

After a few minutes, her stoic expression became a touch warmer. With a gentle touch, she picked the dead shell of a beetle. Turning it around in her hands, she compressed it with a squeezed and stuffed it into the body of a filthy doll. A broken mess of  a toy, the fabric jagged and ripped and a considerable amount of stuffing missing. It was sad. It made Three feel sad. And she wanted to help it. Make the sweet thing whole again.

And bugs made for wonderful fluff...

Three stopped and pointed at the boy who crossed her line of sight, her lips pursed into a frown. " I want that. Under your foot... "  Thinking it would better make her point, she held the limp doll by the thread of it's foot.
