I think I have to thank you both for accepting me and introducing me to your world; we had very interesting and fun times together, specially with you, Rionan. You teached me many things but I'm afraid it was not enough to fill the emptyness in my chest... but is not your fault, it's just the way I am.
I always knew this day was going to come one day or another, a day when I got exhausted from this pain caused by that insatiable hunger of something that not even I know what it is. I wish I could have found what it was.
Anyway, it was a pleasure to meet you two, Aurora... Rionan.
Eh, I like the idea… I haven’t explored this world very much since I was born (which was like a month or two ago?) and that about a Great Fairy granting a wish sounds interesting…
asktwilisorceressaurora:
“I’m glad you think it’s a good idea. Shall we go explore right now then?”
askdarklink:
"Any time is a good time to be with a beautiful being like you, madam~" Twili said as he bowed, in signal of giving her the lead.
He was genuely curious about exploring the place, after all, he hadn’t been a twili all his life, he used to be the shadow of a hylian hero, turned into a twili by the magic of a mysterious being not too long ago. He was still new to that place… and he “inherited” the desire of exploring new lands from the hero of legend.
asktwilisorceressaurora:
Rionan smiled, “please, you do not have to be so formal with me. We’re friends.” she pulled out a map out of thin air, from twilight particles. She had the ability to store items in a sub space that only she had access too. She handed the map. “This is a basic map of the forest, given to me by my older brother. I believe he received it from one of the guards that he was forging weapons for.” she looked at her companion. “I am ready to leave whenever you are.” she told him with a smirk.
askdarklink:
“If you’re ready, then so do I.” He smirked back.
He was very curious about the fairy… what kind of fairy could it be? A good one? Evil one? Or one who didn’t care about who he was? There was something he really wanted to have… but it was nothing very simple to get… It was something that he thought only the goddesses could give him, but he knew they wouldn’t do something like that for him… someone who let himself be possessed, in a way, by the enemy, someone who tried to interfere in the way of the hero… Someone… dark.
asktwilisorceressaurora:
“Alright. Let’s get going then.” Rionan smiled, strapping a sword to her side, in case she needed it. “It might be dangerous out there in the forest. So I suggest bringing a weapon. If not, I have a sword you can use.” She then lead him to the edge of the forest. She hoped that they wouldn’t run into any problems.. She told Aurora really fast that they were leaving and she wished they had a safe trip.
Rionan didn’t tell Twili Dark what she wanted to ask the Twili Great Fairy. She was going to keep that a secret from him. She was a little silent after they reached the edge of the forest. She smirked at him, “It might take a day or so for this trip. Hope you don’t chicken out during the middle of the trip.” She laughed.
askdarklink:
“I happen to have a sword just right here.” He took a sword out of his left sleeve, since his arms were a little longer than the regular, it wasn’t much problem to hide it there. “I might not know this area, but I’m a great swordsman, if I say it myself.” He joked.
It was the first time he was spending more time than the usual with a person who was not Dark or Twilight… but as long as she didn’t want to kill him, he was fine with that.
“A day or so?” He asked, surprised. “I never thought it could take that long… but… me? Chicking out? Pff, it’s not like I am Dark or something.” He giggled.
asktwilisorceressaurora:
Rionan shrugged, “Yeah, well, Neither of us have gone through this forest before, so it is possible we might get lost. The map isn’t finished. Not many people have explored the forests and have come back to tell of their adventures.” She twirled sword around, cutting down various vines and large leaves that were in her way.
Rionan did feel slightly uncomfortable with Twili Dark, cause she didn’t know him very well. Aurora had only just recently introduced the two of them to each other. She figured this might be a good time to get to know him.It might be also good for him to hang out with other people of his race. She could help him learn how to perform magic and things like that.
“I guess during this trip, we’ll just have to see what else is up your sleeve.” She laughed softly, making a small leap over a fallen tree.
askdarklink:
He smiled and looked up. “To be honest, I’m still not completely sure about my abilities as a twili. I just know how to transform into shadows by now, and it was just by instinct…” He sighed. “Wonder if I have some interesting hidden ability or something.” He thought.
They kept walking, but after a while, Twili decided to ask something he had noticed a while back. “Is my presence uncomfortable to you?” He asked as naturally as if he were asking the time. “I would understand, I know I am pure darkness after all; I could even go ahead if you don’t trust me or something.” He wasn’t offended or sad about it, he was used to it, Twili just wanted to make sure to not bother one of the few creatures that have been gentle with him.
asktwilisorceressaurora:
Rionan smirked, “That’s a good thing though. That means you have the pleasure of finding out what your true powers are. You have so much potential and you don’t even know it.” She explained to him. “During this trip, I’ll be sure to help you learn some of the basics.”
When he asked her if she was uncomfortable around him, she turned to face him, “It’s not that you make me uncomfortable, it’s just I hardly know you. Sure my sister introduced us, but we hardly spent any real time together. I figured this trip might not only benefit the both of us, but also allow us to get to know each other a bit.” She shrugged, “Aurora is in the Light Realm with her lover, and Phoenix is up to his neck with work at his smithy, so I really had no one else to ask.. I didn’t want to go alone..” she told him. “You don’t have to go ahead or anything, and the fact that you’re pure darkness doesn’t change a thing. In fact, that makes me a little more comfortable. If you were a light dweller, I wouldn’t be able to ask you at all..” She then gave him a small smile, “It’s just how I behave around new people. It’s nothing personal. I’ll warm up to you eventually.”
askdarklink:
“Is that so?” He smirked. “Then I know a way to get warmed up.” He joked while putting an arm around her shoulders and laughed. Even though he was known for being a ladiesman, his childish side oftenly made him a little oblivious, so, this time, he did that as a joke, just that, so he removed his arm from her shoulder quickly.
“So, you think we can find dangerous creatures around?”
asktwilisorceressaurora:
Rionan was a bit surprised when he put his arm around her shoulder. It wasn’t hard for him, since he was taller than her. Though the moment was brief, it made her smile and a tiny blush appeared on her cheeks. She didn’t know why, but it made her feel comfortable..
She blinked at him when he removed his arm. “It’s possible. This forest is probably littered with them. Heck, there could be one guarding the fairy fountain.” She told him. “We’ll just have to wait and see..” she continued to walk getting her hood caught of a tree branch. She slipped it off, letting her hair hang free. She held up the hood, dissolving it so she could store in her subspace like inventory. “We might have to set up camp soon. We did leave a bit later than I anticipated.” She looked up, the sky was beginning to take a more purplish shade to it, symbolizing oncoming dusk.
askdarklink:
They started walking in silence, Rionan was bussy reading the map and Twili was looking at every plant and little being in their way; he was very curious and didn’t want to miss any detail from the surroundings, besides, that would help them in case they get lost.
After a while, Rionan said it would be a good idea camp while they still could see well; the nights in the Twilight Realm had a soft and special kind of light that made things hard to see. The sorceress used her abilities to bring the necesary to start the camp.
“What should we do now? Just sleep? Or you wanna hear some stories from the hylians? I know a couple in case you’re interested. Are we gonna hunt something? I’m not hungry but probably you are. Are we gonna make guards???”
He didn’t notice how intriged he was about what they were going to do next.
asktwilisorceressaurora:
Rionan didn’t mean to be silent to him. She was just focusing on the map. She followed Twili until they came to a clearing with a pond and a fallen tree. She put away the map and pulled out some supplies. She set up some small beds.
“Let’s find some firewood. I then can teach you to make fire. Hopefully you have an easier time, than Aurora did.” She laughs. She looks around, “I thought I saw a fruit tree, so food won’t be an issue right now.”
She then smiled, “Hylian stories sounds good. Maybe we can both tell stories till we fall asleep. I think as long as we have a fire, no monsters should bother us. I hope that’s the case..”
askdarklink:
“Okay then how about if I start telling you a Hylian story while we get the firewood?” His companion nodded and started looking for the necesary.
“Long ago, there was a man in a place called Kakariko Village. This man used to play the drums in their parties, he was very good at it. But one time, when the party was over, it started storming so strong, that he and others couldn’t go outside of the house the celebration was going on, so all the people remained there for the night.
When it was very late, a little light made this musician to wake up. He stood up and followed the light until the place it came from… a chest. He opened it and found something that looked like a magnifying glass, but it was something else. He took the glass and looked it through it, he found out he could see through certain walls of that house with the help of that item. The curiosity took the best of him, so he put it in one of his bags and went back to sleep.
The next day, at night, he went out and sneeked into other people houses… with the help of that item, he found more and more valuable treasures that he couldn’t resist but take them…” He made a pause since he noticed they got appearently enough firewoods. “I better continue at the camp, don’t you think?”
asktwilisorceressaurora:
As they gathered firewood and she listened intently to the story that he was telling her. It intrigued her to the point where she actually stopped and listened intently to him. “Oh wow.”
She looked down when he stopped and pointed out they had enough of wood. She then nodded, “Yeah.” She lead him back to their little camp site. She placed the firewood down and placed some rocks around it. She then held out her hand, “Come. I’ll teach you how to make fire.” She smiled, waiting for him to come over, “Now watch closely. Making the spark is easy, it’s actually controlling the fire that’s difficult.” She snapped her fingers, causing a spark. Fire then grew around her hand and settled in a ball at the tip of her finger. “See?” She smiled, making the fire grow into a ball and passing it from one hand to the other. “Think you could try to hold it?” She asked, holding out her hand with the flame hovering above her hand. She was prepared to douse the fire if it injured him and he couldn’t handle it.
askdarklink:
Twili wasn’t very comfortable being that close from fire, but then he thought it wouldn’t be much problem since it wasn’t natural fire and also created with dark magic, or that was what he thought.
The boy observed the flame from different angles trying to figure out how to take it, then he finally picked up his sleeves a little and took it with both hands, but when Rionan put her hand away, he, by inertia, removed his hands quickly as if the flame burned him, but it didn’t. Rionan tried to contain the laugh for the funny noise Twili made, causing a tiny blush on his cheeks.
“C’mon, laugh all you want, I just want to keep seeing that smile when I get to the end of that story I was telling you.” He said, teasingly.
asktwilisorceressaurora:
Rionan smiled, watching him look at the flame. He looked uncomfortable, but she knew the flame shouldn’t hurt him. She allowed him to take the flame and as she pulled her hands away, he made the strangest noise that made it hard for her not to giggle. Thankfully, she caught the flame as it fell. She then moved it over to the firewood and started the fire. She smiled at him, “Don’t worry about it. Soon you’ll be able to hold it with no problem.”
She smirked, still trying to contain her laughter. She then giggled when she noticed he was blushing. “You’re cute when you blush.” she teased him. “Please do continue your story.” She laid down on her belly on the makeshift bed, staring at him with a smile.
askdarklink:
Twili cleared his troat and tried to ignore that comment or he could blush even more of embarrasment.
“Alright then, where was I?” He asked, taking sit on the other makeshift bed, crossing his legs, and then looking up to remember. “Oh yes, well, this man started breaking into the villagers houses for various nights, and hid all the stolen things in the basement of his house. But he didn’t know there was a woman who witnessed which were going to be his last assaults.
The next day this woman told her partners what she saw, and since she was a recognized sheikah, guardian of the royal family, they believed her immediatly. She was bussy with her tasks at the castle so she couldn’t stay for the man’s judgment.
During the judgment the man confessed everything, even the possesion of the magical lens, which just increased his punishment… getting his hands cut off. The sheikahs wanted the magical lens back not only because it was stolen, but because it could be dangerous to anyone who was destinated to use it, but the man never spoke.
The days passed and the man remained silent as a rock, they even had to resort to torture the man, but even with that… the man never spoke.
After various days, the leader of the village in turn issued this man’s last judgment which was… to cut his head off. For stealing a sacred object, use it infringe the law and decline to give it back or confess where he hid it.
The sheikahs never found the magical lens, but they were sure it was somewhere in the large basement his house had, so they decided to burn down the house and build a well, to keep it away from thiefs or anyone who wasn’t destinated to use them….
People these days say they still can hear the drums this man used to play in life… coming from the well…” He said that last part the most creepiest way he could.
asktwilisorceressaurora:
Rionan blinked, listening to the story. Her smile faded over time, as the story was turning into a horror story of sorts. As he told it, she imagined the whole thing in her head. “That sounds creepy..” She thought for a moment, “Is that truth, or is it just a children’s horror story so that they wouldn’t go into the well?” she asked. She figured that Twili must’ve heard this story from Dark. It was a strange story. She looked around, “Why would you tell a story like that in the dead of night?” She asked, “That’s just gonna creep me out.” She told him.
She tried to think of a story that she could tell him, but none were coming to her at the moment. She frown, but was intrigued by his story telling. Though she was getting more and more tired by the second. “I’m starting to get sleepy.. Perhaps you could tell another story til I fall asleep?” She asked, then blinked as she received a flashback of her father telling her a bedtime story long ago when she was a child. She shook her head, “That was childish of me to request..”
askdarklink:
“Did I scare you?” He asked with a smirk in his lips, it was obviously his intention from the beggining, but it was more in a funny way than a serious one. “Don’t worry, ‘Mr. Hero’ sealed that spirit time ago, now that story is just that, a story” He explained, getting more confortable. “It won’t show again, or maybe he will, but it would have pass like… a hundred years or so…” He scratches the back of his head. “And even if he comes back, he became a good friend of Dark, and since I was created from him, he would surely be my friend too.”
Twilid closed his eyes and rested a side of his face on a hand as he tried to think on another story. He didn’t find her request childish at all since he hasn’t really interacted that much with another living being that wasn’t his Dark brothers, but they don’t count since both of them are very childish most of the time.
He thought for a couple of moments but he couldn’t think on anything interesting or not creepy. He sighed. The only stories he knew like that were the adventures of his light self when he was a kid.
“Well I’m gonna tell you about ‘my’ light self’s adventures, if you don’t mind.” He said as he took a deep breath, and started telling the stories.
asktwilisorceressaurora:
Rionan gave him a slight smile, turning her head, but still looking at him. This was actually very nice, having Twili Dark tell stories til she fell asleep. She was reminded of her father telling bedtime stories to her. One story in particular that she sorta remembered was one about the legend of the blue eyed beast that would be sent by their gods to save the Twili in their time of need. She sighed, yawning softly as she drifted into a peaceful slumber, rolling over, she was sprawled out on the small bed. She was snoring lightly, so he knew she was sleeping. She had her sword laying down on the grass next to her as well as some other supplies that they might need, like some food and some water. She didn’t know if he slept or not, so she left out some stuff in case he didn’t.
She was sleeping rather peacefully, unaware of the danger that had been following the both of them..
askdarklink:
Twilid was near the end of the story he was telling when he noticed she finally fell asleep, so he stopped. He stretched his arms and back, kind of what a cat looks like when stretching since he was laying on his chest on that little bed.
Even though Twilid was created from Dark, who doesn’t need to sleep, he can induce it, but he doesn’t really need it; the creation/transformation proccess gave him a more or less normal/physical body, so he needed to sleep and eat like any other person, not just do it for fun like his brothers, so he ate a couple of snacks before falling asleep too.
He slept for a couple of minutes, but then something woke him up. He looked around but didn’t see anything. “Maybe it was just the wind.” He thought, and when he tried to sleep again, he saw Rionan sleeping; her hair was a little messy, but that only made her look adorable, or at least at Twilid’s eyes.
He got lost in that image until he heard some stomps at the distance. He turned around quickly and took out his sword, getting ready for whatever it was; he remembered Rionan told him there could be monsters in that forest, and that not many people could come back after getting in there, so those stomps could only mean one thing.
Twilid was thinking on taking care of whatever it was alone, but then the stomps sounded more and more heavy as that thing approached them. He spread dust on the little flame that was left from the campfire, maybe that was what attracted the creature, and Twilid had no problems at all seeing in the dark, so maybe that could give him adventage.
“Rionan… Rionan…!” He whispered to wake her up.
asktwilisorceressaurora:
Rionan was woken up by the harsh whispers of Twili Dark. She instantly noticed that the flame was out. She went on red alert, grabbing her sword and getting up. She heard the heavy stomps. “What do you think it is?” She asked him, looking around. It was hard for her to see, since it was dark. She could see him, since the markings on his clothes kinda glow in the dark. She gasped when she saw something in the distance. “It’s coming.. it looks like a.. FloorMaster..!” She cried out as the large grotesque hands jumped for them. She growled and slashed the hand, spilling the green blood onto the ground. “I really didn’t think we’d be attacked just yet!” She shot a blast of fire at it, burning it to a crisp. From what she saw, she mistakened it for a Floor Master, “It’s an Armogohma spawn!” She screeched, backing away in fear. She hated spiders, any kinds. Didn’t matter what kind it was. She shivered, practically petrified by the burning spider corpse.
askdarklink:
“F-Floor Masters?” He asked letting his guard down for a second, in surprise, and stepped back slowly. “No one told me there would be those things here too…” He got lost in his thoughts for a moment, but then woke up when he saw the blast of fire his partner shot.
“Armogohma?” He sighed and smiled in relief. He took his sword with more confidence now, stepped forward again and took position… it was then when he noticed Rionan was just there, staring at the burning spider corpse. “Rionan?” He asked and gave a curious look at her and noticed she looked extremely scared. Twilid knew people usually say or do something in ocasions like that, but he didn’t know what, so he just stared at her, confused, for a couple of seconds before a giant armogohma showed up before them, bringing down some trees; one of them was about to fall over Rionan, so Twilid had to jump and push her to save her.
Even when he could save her from the falling tree, he couldn’t avoid it completely; part of its heavy branches fell over his right foot; he didn’t give that much importance to it at the moment, he had to kill that giant spider or it would kill him and his companion.
He couldn’t move freely so he had just one chance. He knew an old familiar of those things, their weekpoint shouldn’t be any different from the one he knew, so he jumped as high as he could, and just when the armoghoma was about to attack him with its pincers, he instinctively threw a fireball at the spider to distract it, and gave a one and final blow to its eye with his sword.
asktwilisorceressaurora:
The spider screeched, swinging it’s legs forward trying to get to the twili. It knocked over the trees and tried to attack them. Rionan was completely frozen in fear at staring at the burning corpse. She snapped out of it when Twili Dark slammed into her, pushing her to safety. She cried out in surprise when she fell over and looked back, seeing the spider rushing at them. She gasped, watching TwiliD pull his foot out from under a branch and somehow managing to jump up as high as he could, using magic to throw a fireball and then stab it’s eye. It screeched loudly and thrashed around, throwing the twili off of it’s back. It bumped into a few more trees wildly as it slowly died. It tipped over onto it’s back, it’s legs wriggling until it died.
Rionan still laid on the ground, shivering. She hated spiders more than anything. Her skin still felt like it was crawling. She snapped out of it, finally. She crawled on the ground, towards the campsite, looking for TwiliD, calling out for him softly. “T-Twili D..? Where are you..?”
askdarklink:
Twilid fell on some trees before touching the ground, making his wound just worse than it was.
“Stupid spider.” He said to himself still laying there, facing the ground, and then trying to stand up, but the wound didn’t let him to stand up for too long, so he sit under the nearest tree; there, he looked at his foot, he could see a blue spot on his foot. “…great” he sighed in resignation, trying to contain the pain.
TwiliD looked around and couldn’t find Rionan, then remembered the spider threw him away, but he couldn’t see how far. He wanted to shout her name to see if she could find him, but then thought it could bring more monsters, and he wasn’t able to fight in that state.
“How was it?” He thought trying to figure out how he managed to make a fireball just a while ago. “It came out so easy back then…” He scratched the back of his head, trying to remember. After various attempts, he finally could make a little fireball, which he threw up, then other one… and other one… hoping Rionan could see them to find him.
asktwilisorceressaurora:
Rionan managed to stand up, looking around, feeling more panicked than ever. “TwiliD..” she breathed. She looked up and saw a small fireball in the sky. She made her way to where the fireballs originated. She saw him sitting under a tree. She rushed over to him, crying out his name in relief as she knelt down next to him. “I’m so sorry! I didn’t mean to zone out like that!” She told him in a hushed whisper. She looked down at the blue spot on his foot. “I’m sorry.. You’re injured because of my stupidity..” She sighed, resting her head on his shoulder for a moment, “I-I’m just glad you’re okay.. that we’re okay..” She sighed softly, pressing her face against his shoulder, so he couldn’t see the tears that were forming in her eyes. She breathed shakily and pulled away from his shoulder, “I-I’m sorry again..Where do you hurt?”
askdarklink:
Twilid felt relieved when he saw Rionan found him. He didn’t know if she knew how to help him with the wound but at least they were together again so they could protect each other again if it was needed.
He was very surprised when the sorcerer apologized, he always felt guilty about everything that happened around him; his past experiences left that habit on him; he surprised even more when she said she was glad he was okay, no one, ever, apart of his brothers, worried about him.
It felt warm to have someone that close.
TwiliD cleared his throat. “Don’t worry that much, I know girls doesn’t like insects, don’t they? Besides, it was huge.” Those were his actual thoughts. “And… it’s nothing.” He tried to lie, how could a man like him show ‘weakness’? Specially with a girl, but the pain started to increase slowly as the adrenaline finished up. “Okay okay, there.” He mumbled, pointing at his ankle.
asktwilisorceressaurora:
She stayed close by his side, “It’s not insects. It’s just spiders.. and roaches.. disgusting creatures..” She shivered. She smiled at him then frowned, “Oh come on. You were shooting fireballs and sitting on the ground. I’m assuming you’re hurt.” When he gave in and told her, she looked down at his ankle. “Oh TwiliD..” She sighed softly, “We’re lucky I know some healing magic.” She put her hand over his foot, over the blue spot on his foot. She sighed softly and began channeling her magic, making her hand and his foot glow, repairing it slowly. It took a few minutes, but it was at least better than before. “You can use it now, but be careful. You could easily sprain it.” She told him, looking back up at him, so she could see him. “Should we gather our things and move on, find another camp site?”
askdarklink:
TwiliD eyes opened wide when Rionan pointed out she assumed he was hurt for what he did, and blushed softly; he didn’t thought that very well. “I-I did that so you could find me, who knows, maybe another spider would go over there and you would be alone this time…! Just that…!” He lied.
He looked curious at the healing proccess, it definitely was something new to him so he couldn’t stop looking. “Well, that’s impressive.” He said when she finished, them moved his ankle a little, to finally stand up. “Not bad~” He made a pause. “Sure, we don’t want other forest creatures steal our things, don’t we?” He said as he started to walk in the direction he saw Rionan came from.
asktwilisorceressaurora:
Rionan frowned, “Twili.. I saw your foot get slammed by the branch when you pushed me over..” She looked down, thinking that he didn’t want to seem weak or anything. She didn’t think that at all. She thought he was really brave and courageous to save her from the spider and from getting smashed by a tree. She finished healing his leg and then helped him stand up. “It’s just a temporary heal until we can get somewhere so I can get a proper look at it.” She told him, “try not to put so much weight on it.” She told him, watching him walk towards where she had come from. She followed him quickly, automatically grabbing his arm and clinging to it, for fear there may be more spiders out there. She shivered, “I’m sorry.. nothing really scares me like spiders do.. You must think I’m pathetic..” She sighed softly, “A great sorceress like myself, scared of a spider.”
askdarklink:
Rionan surprised him a little when she clinged to his arm. He gave her a weird look because he wasn’t very sure what was happening, though, she didn’t saw it.“You don’t need to apologize with me for something like that. I am the last person who would judge someone for being scared—” He stoped. He was about to tell her that he, himself, had a lot of fears, but he didn’t want to seem weak, so he quickly thought on the easiest excuse. “We all know that girls tend to fear to the silliest things after all” He said, joklingly as they walked together.
asktwilisorceressaurora:
Rionan shivered for a moment, still cling to his arm, his blue markings gave her face a soft blueish hue. She looked up at him, then released his arm. She cleared her throat and gave him some space. She figured she made him slightly uncomfortable.
“I wouldn’t see my fear as being silly.” She told him, knowing he was joking, but she didn’t like joking about her fears. “Spiders, especially ones of that size, can be deadly. We were lucky to get through that and survive. Well.. I’m lucky at least. You were smart and brave enough not to let it’s size intimidate you.” She told him.
Once they reached the camp, she silently packed their things in her twili subspace storage dimension. She looked at him, “Let’s go find somewhere else to crash. Hopefully, nothing with any spiders.” She took out a map. “There’s a cliff side, just north of here it looks like. Maybe we can head there.”
askdarklink:
“You were smart and brave” Rionan’s words echoed in TwiliD’s head for a moment. It appearently, he finally managed to do something right, but then facepalmed when he realized that her tone indicated that she wasn’t exactly happy about joking about that topic. He finally did something right, but he screwed it up on the other hand; hopefully he would think on something to fix that later.
“Meh, I’m used to things that size, you know, sometimes the bigger the monster is, the slowest or the dumbest it is; but being serious, for once, I know of someone who is afraid of spiders as well, that’s why I don’t see anything weird about that fear.” He said, thinking on his other self; fortunately for both of them, that fear remained in Dark only, if that wasn’t the case, maybe they could have died back there…
asktwilisorceressaurora:
When TwiliD mentioned he was used to things that size, she looked at him. He was right about that though, the bigger a monster is, the slower and dumber it is. She nodded, “You’re right about that.” She continued to lead him through the woods, holding out her hand, which she was using magic to illuminate the path and help guide their way. She blinked when she saw the cliff side and the cave just a few feet away. She looked back at him. “Be prepared. I’m going to shoot a fireball in there to see if there are any monsters.” She then lifted her hand, sending a fireball into the cave. A few keese flew out in surprise, but other than that, there was nothing else in the small cave. She smiled, pleased that there were no more monsters. “Come. We can set up camp in here until daytime.” She told him, stepping into the cave and setting up camp, by snapping her fingers and laying out the sleeping bags.
Once she was all settled, she laid down, ready to get some sleep. She was beginning to feel exhausted from all the magic she used. Especially that healing spell she did on TwiliD’s foot. She looked over at him, “I guess we should get some sleep now.” She told him, laying down on the mattress. She sighed softly and closed her eyes, but couldn’t get to sleep. She tossed and turned, groaning in frustration. She sighed softly, opening her eyes and staring up at the ceiling of the cave.

TwiliD laid down quickly, even though he just told Rionan about the wound on his ankle, he had a lot more on his whole body, even when being minor, they hurt anyway, so he needed some rest.“Sometimes I hate having a normalphysical body, it gets hurt so easy.”He thought as he put himself comfortable on the sleeping bag.
The time passed but Rionan seemed to have problems to sleep; at first he didn’t think on asking since he thought she just couldn’t find a comfortable position to sleep, but it was too much now.
“Is something wrong?” He asked, curious.

Rionan sighed heavily, sitting up and moving her hair out of her eyes. “I can’t sleep.. I just can’t get rid of that feeling, like spiders are crawling all over over my skin..” She shivers and sighs, “Sorry if I’m keeping you up..” She bit her lip, feeling so pathetic. She didn’t expect this trip to turn out like this. She should be better when the sun came up in the Twilight Sky.
She looked over at the tiny flame that separated them. It did very little to warm her up, so she rubbed her hands up and down her arms, trying to warm herself up a little. She glanced up and saw TwiliD, seeing him just barely illuminated by the fire and his own markings made him look.. amazing.. A light pink blush appeared on her pale white skin and she turned away.

He scratched the back of his head, he didn’t know what he was supposed to do, but her insecurity made him remember the time when he was still part of Dark, when he escaped from the Water Temple after being defeated by his light self… when he ran away, he always had a feel of persecution, he always felt Ganondorf was going to find him and kill him himself, or probably worse things… But there was a difference.
“You’re not alone.” He said, pouting and looking in other direction. “Try to sleep, I’ll stay awake to make sure no spider or roach aproaches to you.” He made a pause. “But if I get sleepy I’ll wake you up.” He said, less serious. “Or you can come over here, just to be sure.” He said, joking, though, because of his personality, he wouldn’t mind at all having a girl slepping by his side.
Eh, I like the idea... I haven't explored this world very much since I was born (which was like a month or two ago?) and that about a Great Fairy granting a wish sounds interesting...
...
How long have you been here, by the way? You haven't happen to hear the previous ask, do you...?

[adghsada Aurora, I got your ask just when I was working on the first one x'D]
