grace: honestly why are people so oblivious to things sometimes
grace: you owe it to yourself to observe and know things
grace: right?
“i can’t fuckin’ believe this ---” kaia groaned, letting her pen drop from her hand and onto her desk, seemingly forgetting where she was. the library. before the other got the chance to respond properly, she continued, rambling on more to herself than anyone else. “there’s a mistake in the actual question. i’ve been sat here for two hours, and it just fucking occured to me --- you think they do this shit on purpose? god, someone put me out of my misery, please. ”

elina: listen i'm having en emergency
elina: an ACTUAL crisis
elina: h e l p
it wasn’t a surprise the first place she’d gravitate to was the library. books were her best friends growing up, next to her homeschool teacher mrs. lópez, secluded from any kind of social scene. as much as she wanted to check out a dozen of books, she only got away with five, but even that was a struggle to carry for her when fatigue started to invade her system, leading her to drop the books. ❛ ay, dios mío. ❜ she gasped, partially because of the books but more from her body weakening all of a sudden.
❛ this is lecture sounds rather samey to me. ❜ she sighs, talking to no one in particular. ❛ maybe if they tried prodding in, at least, an interesting topic i would find myself actually listening. ❜
“i know it looks like i’m paying attention but i got through that lecture on coffee and sheer will alone,” beau groaned, his grip on the cup of coffee was stangling. “i love kins, but if she could let rhi and i sleep for more than an hour a night it’d be great.”
it took nearly half a minute of staring blankly ahead before nora realised she was picking at her well-manicured nailbeds instead of actually listening to the person speaking. “forgive me, i’m sorry. could you repeat that?”
