ok i thought about this ask for a while and i actually think there is a subtle but important distinction to be made here. i feel like sidney's humiliation kink is primarily about being chirped by the boys in ways that make him feel both embarrassed and like he belongs. a prime example would be one of the guys who went to college chirping him about having to ask his little sister to help him make a works cited page in microsoft word. sid's humiliation kink is about experiencing that delicious squirmy little frisson of shame (getting mocked) within the safest imaginable space (person mocking you loves you ardently, thinks you are the best person ever, and would probably die for you in a heartbeat). i feel like getting comments on his draft would actually active sidney's feedback kink. this kink is all about someone giving him hyper-specific direction on what he needs to do to get better at the skill he is trying to master. what could possibly be more erotic than someone who has greater expertise than you taking you and your goals seriously enough to give you structured guidance on how to improve? the idea of getting rigorous feedback is not humiliating for sidney crosby... it is the reason he gets up in the morning. another day, another opportunity to get constructive criticism that will help him excel in his chosen pursuits!!!
