Had the idea to draw Damien with his sisters ❤️ (I know nothing about him and it was an opportunity for more red-headed Daphne propaganda 🙂↕️)
Figured out some OG Winx features for Damien by softening Oritel’s features and mixing in some of Marion’s, like her heavy/visible eyelids👍🏾

Winx Club: Stella redesign
First of the Winx for my little redesign project is Stella!
At the start of the series she says herself when the Trix stole her ring (the ring of Solaria) that she was “essentially useless” without it. We also know that she’s having a tough time at home because her parents are going through a divorce. So for her character arc I’m thinking that at the start we have a classic princess character, the way we always have known Stella, very clearly spoiled, a princess, not used to doing things for herself or hard labor. She is overall a good and sweet person but just a little tone deaf to certain situations due to her status and upbringing (think a little bit like Lottie from princess and the frog). We see more and more how she is desperate to portray this perfect “princess” image in order to properly represent Solaria and make her parents proud, but then she slowly starts to realize that in order to be the heir that her kingdom needs she needs to do it more her own way, which includes learning to be her own person and not just “Solaria’s princess”.
She also has heterochromia in this version, she is a fairy of the sun and moon yet leans very heavily into the sun aesthetic, look, and power, making me think she also could potentially have an arch where we see she has issues with her mom specifically to the point that she doesn’t like seeing reminders of her mother in herself, so she doesn’t present her moon powers as much for a while.
In my version, the fairies have a sort of control over how their transformations look, especially their first one, so when she first gets her wings she has this HUGE royal princess dress that becomes quickly apparent isn’t suited for fighting and hinders her more, so she begins to adjust more and more as she becomes part of the Winx club and they get involved in more battles. She is still very feminine and fabulous, but now a little more battle ready. She also realizes and acknowledges eventually that she uses the ring of Solaria as a crutch of sorts to harness her power, so she eventually begins working to use her magic without it as well (which is when we start getting either her charmix or Enchantix transformation)
Potentially the armor additions could be used for all the fairies as their “charmix” boost that they keep once they get
One of the few things I did like from the reboot is that they gave us a girl specialist instead of just an all guy cast. And because this is my redesign, I think Stella would be an adorable fem4fem lesbian who gets enchanted by the pretty and strong Briar. I’d still like to keep the storyline of her partner initially telling Stella that they’re royalty to make it seem like they have a better chance with a princess (and to help out their friend), and I think Briar would be a nice foil for Stella’s character because she inspires her to be better as a person, to be more capable on her own so she can help her friends while with Briar, Stella is a nice reminder to not always be so serious about work and enjoy being fabulous and feminine while still being a badass.
