s/o to my d&d character who never actually fought in a battle. all she did in life was strum a guitar, get high as shit, tame some nasty birds, get it on with a cute dragonborn lady, and eat legendary granola before getting killed by a banshee scream in the back of a truck. a life well lived.

You guys have probably heard me mention Mason on this blog, my neighbor who was murdered a few years ago. 

Today is his grandma died. It’s not really a surprise, but I still wasn’t expecting it. She’s had a lot of health issues for a few years now. My mom called me earlier, but I couldn’t hear her because I was at work and the kids weren’t listening. She just told me now. 

I’ve known her since I was a kid. She was my friend’s grandma. My neighbor. It was her apartment that my cat was born in. 

It’s weird. It’s surreal.

just found out a small child that I used to watch over at the day care center I previously worked at has died. two years old, she fell in a pool and drowned. as if this day couldn't get any worse
