i don’t know how controversial of an opinion this is but i don’t think s4 el hopper’s style was the best reflection of el’s true personality and here’s why:

essentially, in lenora, el is trying to blend in with the normies around her and she does the best with what she is provided (she’s very resourceful and i love that about her): hand-me-downs, joyce’s signature bowlcut style haircut both will and jonathan have sported at some point, etc. she’s just trying to blend in and she really just does that by trying to look as normal as possible.

so yeah, as much as i love it, i don’t think s4 el was a good display of her true character. that’s all.
