Jane Hopper also known as Eleven as a character genuinely makes me cry, and the fact she was so let down by the creators tears my heart apart. Looking at pictures when she was young makes me so emotional. She wasn’t herself in the last season, merely a husk of what she was in past seasons, it’s criminal how badly they messed it up. Jane my angel you’re forever in my heart ☹️☹️♥️
i mean mfs byler tumblr are the only ones calling them that but okay noah
my girl
about: people on tv are very grandiose about love, el thinks you and steve are better
c.w. none, domestic fluff, i think about the peach scene in tsitp at least once a week
a/n: i said an hour ago the lucas chapter would be next but apparently i’m a liar, i wrote this instead of studying, divider from @/cursed-carmine
Boys do very weird things for girls on TV. They stand outside in the rain, sing dramatic love songs, and buy out entire flower shops. El likes and doesn’t like the TV, Hopper says this is a “love-hate” relationship.
All those things are very sweet and she’s sure the boys mean well, but they’re also… too much, too much love. There isn’t a word for too much love, but maybe that’s because when there’s too much of it, it doesn’t feel like love.
Dustin complains about getting points off on math tests for not showing his work on basic math. Maybe that’s what it is, if it’s something basic that everyone already knows, why show it?
El is starting to have a love-hate relationship with the word “maybe.”
She decides that love is easier to understand when she’s watching it instead of thinking about it.
No, you want Jane to survive so she can get married to Mike and live "happily ever after", I want Jane to survive because she was a victim abused most of her life and truly derserved to be a normal girl and live happily with her family and friends and truly find herself, just like she wanted without being forced into a toxic relationship, we are not the same.
“halfway happy”
