Omfg. Kindle was just sitting on the couch armrest next to me, my mother comes home, sits down on the couch and BOOM! it falls (despite being perfectly fine sitting there for the past five hours), hits the ground and flings my spoon out of my bowl while simultaneously knocking over a nail polish bottle I was using.
The result? The top third of my Kindle's screen is now unreadable and my Kindle has been off its warranty for over a year now. This means I'm going to need to get a new Kindle (because I need one for reviewing books) and probably change the Wi-Fi password on our router so I can get books onto my Kindle via Wi-Fi. (No one remembers what the password is.)
And she thinks it's MY fault that it fell despite the fact that the chair I'm sitting in IS NOT TOUCHING THE FUCKING COUCH and the Kindle hadn't been slipping around or anything. It's not even like I'm asking her (or telling her) to pay for my new one; I JUST WANT HER TO ADMIT THAT IT WAS HER FAULT IT FELL. Like, seriously. She does this ALL the damn time and usually it's my cell phone or my notebook (paper) that falls. But this time? MY FUCKING KINDLE. I legitimately need it to do EVERYTHING for my fucking blog. FUCK, MOM.
